Coalescing Oil Separator
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured oil-water separation equipment for removing free oil and supporting dispersed-oil separation from produced water, oily water and industrial water streams. Vessel arrangement, inlet distribution, separation zones, coalescing internals, oil collection, water outlet, interface control and drain/sampling connections are defined from the actual fluid properties, flow, solids, temperature, pressure and downstream water-treatment requirement.
Coalescing plates, packing or media are project-selected options, not universal standard internals. No fixed oil-droplet size, outlet oil content or quantified separation performance is claimed without project data.

Project-Configured Oil-Water Separation
The separator is configured around the inlet oil/water/solids behavior and the required downstream water-treatment or transfer interface.
Oil-Water Separation Logic
Distribute the inlet, create a stable separation zone, coalesce where useful and control the oil-water interface.
The process route should be based on the actual oil phase, droplet behavior, solids loading, viscosity, temperature, density difference, flow variation and downstream requirement. Coalescing internals are one possible enhancement to gravity separation, not a substitute for a defined process basis.
- 01 / DISTRIBUTE
Distribute the Inlet
Introduce the water/oil stream through an inlet arrangement selected to support the intended vessel flow pattern.
- 02 / SEPARATE
Use Gravity Separation
Provide a project-sized separation zone that allows oil and water phases to separate under the confirmed operating conditions.
- 03 / COALESCE
Coalesce Where Appropriate
Add project-selected plates, packing or media where fluid behavior and fouling/maintenance considerations support their use.
- 04 / COLLECT
Collect Separated Oil
Route separated oil to the defined oil collection/outlet section while maintaining the required liquid interface.
- 05 / CONTROL
Control Water Outlet & Interface
Coordinate water outlet, level/interface instruments, drains, sampling and alarms with the downstream treatment train.
Applications
For water-phase oil-removal duties before downstream treatment, reuse, transfer or reinjection.
When the feed remains a multiphase oil/gas/water production stream, use a separator or produced-fluid treatment page instead. This product page begins with a water-phase oil-removal duty.
Produced Water
Oil removal from produced-water streams before filtration, polishing, reinjection or other downstream handling.
Tank Drainage / Recovery Water
Oil-bearing water from tanks, drainage, recovery and field collection systems where phase separation is required.
Industrial Oily Wastewater
Project-specific oil-water separation upstream of a broader industrial wastewater-treatment system.
Process / Utility Water Interfaces
Oil-removal duty where water must be conditioned before downstream equipment, storage or transfer.
Structure & Configurable Internals
Configure the vessel around fluid behavior, interface control and maintainability.
The final equipment may be supplied as a vessel, module or skid. Geometry, pressure basis, internal zones, nozzle orientation, coalescing internals, access, supports and instrument scope are confirmed from project data.
Inlet Distribution
Inlet device/distributor selection is based on flow regime, oil loading and the required flow pattern inside the vessel.
Gravity Separation Zone
Primary separation space is sized from fluid properties, flow and project-defined separation duty.
Project-Selected Coalescing Internals
Plates, packing or media may be considered after reviewing droplet behavior, solids/fouling risk, cleaning access and operating conditions.
Oil Collection & Outlet
Oil collection chamber/weir/outlet arrangement follows the selected vessel concept and control philosophy.
Water Outlet & Interface Control
Level/interface instruments, alarms and water outlet controls are configured around the required operating range and downstream process.
Drain, Sampling, Vent & Access
Drain, sampling, vent, pressure/temperature, manway and maintenance connections are included where required by the project.
Engineering Inputs
Oil behavior, solids and outlet requirement come before coalescer selection.
Provide representative water analysis, oil characteristics, process data and downstream requirements where available. If oil-droplet distribution or emulsion behavior is unknown, it should remain a clarification/testing item rather than a fabricated design value.
Water / Oil / Solids Data
Water source, oil content/type, free vs dispersed/emulsified behavior where known, suspended solids, particle characteristics and salinity.
Flow & Operating Conditions
Normal/min/max flow, temperature, operating/design pressure where applicable, density/viscosity and batch or continuous operation.
Outlet & Downstream Basis
Required outlet water basis, recovered-oil destination and downstream filtration, treatment, reuse, reinjection or disposal interface.
Mechanical / Site / Project Scope
Materials/corrosion, code basis, hazardous area, nozzle/interface list, plot/transport, instruments/controls, inspection/FAT and document requirements.
Manufacturing & Inspection
Fabricate the equipment and verify the agreed process and mechanical interfaces.
LINSON OIL manufacturing resources support vessel/equipment fabrication, piping prefabrication, skid assembly, valve/instrument installation, material traceability and project-specific testing. Applicable NDT, pressure/leak testing and FAT are defined by the mechanical design and approved ITP.
Material Control
Verify incoming materials, identification and project-required traceability before fabrication.
Fabrication & Internals
Fabricate vessel/module, install nozzles and project-selected internals, and coordinate skid/piping scope where included.
Inspection & Testing
Perform dimensional, applicable NDT, pressure/leak, instrument and assembly checks according to the released basis.
FAT & Delivery Records
Arrange FAT/TPI support, project quality records, packing and delivery preparation where included in scope.
Related Equipment
Connect oil removal to the rest of the water-treatment train.
Oilfield Water Filter
Dedicated filtration equipment where suspended solids or downstream protection requires a separate filter stage.
Clarifier
Clarification or settling equipment for water streams requiring additional solids/oil separation.
Chemical Injection Skid
Dosing package where treatment chemistry is a defined part of the approved process route.
Three-Phase Separator
Use when the feed is still a multiphase oil/gas/water production stream rather than a water-phase oil-removal stream.
Related Solutions & Evidence
Use coalescing-internals evidence carefully without turning a separator project into a false product reference.
System
Produced Water & Industrial Wastewater Treatment System
Wider treatment-system context when oil removal is only one stage inside a complete water-treatment train.
Solution
Produced Fluid & Produced Water Treatment
Connects upstream produced-fluid separation with downstream water treatment and oil-removal equipment.
Process / Internals Evidence
Oil-Water Coalescing Internals in Separation Equipment
Available source material documents corrugated coalescing/plate-type internals used within oil-water separation equipment. It supports the coalescing principle and internals capability, but is not presented as proof of one standardized standalone coalescing-oil-separator design.

Coalescing Oil Separator RFQ
Send the water, oil and solids basis before selecting internals.
Share the water source, normal/min/max flow, oil content and type, free/dispersed/emulsified behavior if known, solids, salinity, temperature, pressure, fluid density/viscosity, required outlet basis, downstream process, P&ID, Data Sheet and Technical Specification. We will clarify the vessel and internals scope before quotation.
Detailed datasheets, drawings and project-specific technical documents are prepared after the operating conditions, scope of supply and commercial basis have been sufficiently clarified.
