LINSON OIL

LINSON OIL Project Case

He50 Three-Phase
Separator Skid

A customized oilfield separator skid project designed for oil, gas and water separation from water-containing crude oil, with separate metering and export interfaces integrated into a modular skid package.

This page describes a specific project configuration and delivery approach. Project operating conditions, process values and separation requirements are evaluated individually and are not universal LINSON OIL product specifications.

Project Type Three-Phase Separator Skid
Process Duty Oil / Gas / Water Separation
Supply Form Integrated Modular Skid

Project Background

Customized separation and export interfaces in one skid package

The He50 project required a practical package for handling a water-containing crude oil stream where oil, gas and produced water needed to be separated, controlled and routed through dedicated interfaces.

In addition to the separator vessel itself, the supply scope needed to consider process piping, valves, instruments, access provisions, metering connection points and coordinated skid integration for project delivery.

LINSON OIL approached the package as an engineered project system rather than a standalone vessel. The final configuration was developed around the applicable process documents, scope boundaries, installation requirements and client technical clarifications.

Process & Functions

Built around the project separation and handling sequence

The separator skid was configured to support the project process route and operating philosophy. Final equipment selection, controls and interfaces should always be confirmed against current Process Data, P&ID, Data Sheet and Technical Specification.

Oil / Gas / Water Separation

Separation of the incoming multiphase stream into defined oil, gas and water outlet paths according to the project process scheme.

Interface and Outlet Control

Provision for oil-water interface control, liquid level management and gas outlet control where required by the approved control philosophy.

Sand Handling Consideration

Sand handling, draining or cleaning arrangements can be included where solids content, field practice and maintenance access require them.

Separate Metering Interfaces

The project process route separated oil, gas and water and connected the three streams to separate metering and export interfaces.

Modular Skid Arrangement

The package was arranged as a transportable, coordinated skid to simplify factory integration, site installation and interface management.

Project-Specific Engineering

Design details are selected based on actual fluid properties, pressure, temperature, materials, hazardous-area needs, transport limits and client requirements.

Skid Scope

Coordinated equipment and integration scope

For a three-phase separator skid project, the scope is defined through approved technical documents and commercial clarification. Typical integrated items may include:

  • Three-phase separator vessel
  • Process piping and fittings
  • Manual and control valves
  • Process instruments and controls
  • Metering and export interfaces
  • Platforms, ladders and supports
  • Structural base skid and equipment supports
  • Skid assembly and package integration
