Skid-Mounted Demineralized Water System
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured skid-mounted systems for demineralized or deionized water preparation where a defined low-mineral-water quality is required for process, utility, heating-equipment makeup, cleaning or other project duties. The treatment route is selected from the actual feed-water analysis, required product-water quality, flow profile, operating philosophy, regeneration or recovery expectations, waste interfaces and project specification.
No fixed conductivity, hardness, silica, TDS, recovery, regeneration cycle, resin type or treatment route is assumed before the feed-water and product-water basis is confirmed.

Project-Configured Water Preparation
Pretreatment, demineralization, storage, transfer, instruments, controls and skid piping are coordinated only after the feed-water and product-water basis is known.
Treatment-Scope Logic
Define the water duty first, then select and integrate the treatment modules.
The sequence below is a procurement and engineering framework, not a fixed treatment process. Pretreatment, ion-exchange or other demineralization stages, filters, dosing, storage, pumps and controls are included only where supported by the water analysis and product-water requirement.
- 01 / CHARACTERIZE
Characterize Feed Water
Review source, analysis, seasonal/operating variation, solids, dissolved constituents and upstream-treatment conditions.
- 02 / DEFINE
Define Product-Water Duty
Confirm downstream consumer, quality requirement, demand profile, operating hours and storage/standby expectations.
- 03 / SELECT
Select Demineralization Route
Evaluate project-appropriate pretreatment and demineralization modules without assuming one fixed process or consumable.
- 04 / INTEGRATE
Integrate Storage, Transfer & Controls
Coordinate pumps, tanks, valves, instruments, electrical/control interfaces and skid piping within the approved package boundary.
- 05 / MANAGE
Manage Regeneration / Waste Interfaces
Define regeneration, reject, drains, chemicals, recovery or other waste-handling interfaces according to the selected process.
Applications
Low-mineral water prepared for a defined downstream consumer.
The same skid architecture should not be copied across applications. Product-water quality and operating philosophy must be confirmed against the actual consumer and project specification.
Process Water
Demineralized/deionized water preparation for process consumers with a defined project water-quality basis.
Boiler / Heating Makeup
Makeup-water preparation where boiler or heating-equipment specifications define the required water quality.
Cleaning / Flushing
Project water supply for cleaning, flushing or maintenance where mineral content must be controlled.
Utility Water Duties
Other low-mineral-water duties where the consumer, flow and quality target are technically defined.
Main Equipment & Modules
Integrate only the modules required by the selected water-treatment route.
The final bill of materials is project-specific. Available scope can include filters, dosing equipment, pumps, tanks, instruments, controls and skid piping, while the core demineralization technology remains subject to the confirmed water basis.
Pretreatment Interface
Coordinate upstream water condition, filtration, chemical conditioning or other pretreatment only where required by the selected route.
Demineralization Unit
Ion-exchange or another project-determined demineralization arrangement is selected from feed-water analysis and product-water requirements.
Filters & Chemical Dosing
Filters and dosing equipment can be included where the approved process route requires them.
Pumps & Storage
Feed, transfer or distribution pumps and project-defined storage/buffer equipment are integrated to the operating profile.
Instruments & Controls
Water-quality monitoring, pressure/flow/level instruments, alarms, local/remote control and electrical interfaces are configured by scope.
Skid Piping & Package Interfaces
Skid base, interconnecting piping, valves, drains, vents, lifting, utility tie-ins and battery limits are coordinated with the site.
Engineering Inputs
Feed-water analysis and product-water specification define the package.
Provide a representative water analysis and the downstream consumer specification where available. If some quality parameters or operating assumptions are incomplete, they should remain clarification items before technical and commercial scope is finalized.
Feed-Water Analysis
Water source, conductivity/TDS where available, hardness, alkalinity, silica, suspended solids/turbidity, pH, temperature and other relevant constituents.
Product-Water Requirement
Downstream consumer, required quality parameters, operating/acceptance specification and any sampling or monitoring requirements.
Flow / Operation / Storage
Normal/min/max or batch demand, operating hours, peak demand, standby philosophy, storage volume basis and transfer requirements.
Regeneration / Utilities / Site
Regeneration/recovery philosophy, chemical and drain/waste interfaces, power/instrument air where required, layout, transport, controls, materials and project documentation.
Skid Integration, Inspection & FAT
Coordinate water-treatment equipment, piping, pumps, instruments and controls as one package.
LINSON OIL resources support water-treatment equipment, filter and dosing equipment, pumps/pump parts, piping fabrication, skid assembly, valve/instrument installation and electrical/control integration. Inspection, applicable pressure/leak testing, instrument/control checks and FAT are arranged according to the approved project specification and ITP.
Engineering Release
Confirm water-treatment route, equipment list, battery limits, materials, instruments, controls and inspection points.
Skid Fabrication & Assembly
Integrate project-selected vessels/housings, filters, dosing equipment, pumps, tanks, piping, valves and structure.
Inspection & Functional Checks
Perform dimensional, applicable pressure/leak, instrument, electrical/control and package functional checks to scope.
FAT & Delivery Records
Arrange FAT, customer/EPC/TPI witness support, drawings, manuals, test records and packing/delivery preparation where included.
Related Equipment
Connect water preparation to dedicated filtration, dosing and transfer equipment.
Oilfield Water Filter
Dedicated filtration equipment where solids control is independently specified.
Chemical Injection Skid
Separate dosing package when the water-treatment chemistry requires a dedicated chemical scope.
Pumps & Pump Parts
Feed, transfer, circulation or distribution pump scope coordinated with the package duty.
Custom Process Skid
Use when the utility-water equipment must be integrated into a wider custom skid boundary.
Related Solutions & Evidence
Use documented water-treatment and skid-manufacturing scope without inventing one fixed demineralization process.
Water-Treatment System
Produced Water & Industrial Wastewater Treatment System
Use when the primary objective is contaminant removal from produced water or industrial wastewater rather than demineralized utility-water preparation.
Solution
Modular Skid Process Packages
Package-level engineering context for integrating treatment equipment, piping, instruments, controls and site interfaces.
Direct Capability Evidence
Water-Treatment, Filter, Dosing & Skid Resources
Available qualification material covers water-treatment equipment, filters, skid-mounted equipment, dosing equipment, pumps/pump parts and related water-treatment consumables. It supports package capability while the exact demineralization technology remains project-defined.
