Loading & Tank Accessories

LINSON OIL supports project-defined storage-tank and loading accessories as part of oilfield storage, transfer and process-equipment supply. Scope is clarified from the tank arrangement, fluid duty, loading/unloading method, piping and instrument interfaces, project drawings and required inspection/documentation.

Current source evidence supports tank level gauges, breathing valves and inlet/outlet piping on oil-collection-tank configurations, plus large storage-tank accessories, loading arms, quantitative loading equipment and floating-roof products within manufacturing scope. Exact type, size, material, pressure/flow basis and code requirements remain project-specific.

Accessory selection should follow the tank, piping and loading-transfer interface—not a generic accessory catalogue.

Accessory Scope Map

Separate tank-side accessories from loading and transfer equipment.

This page groups related procurement items, but the exact supply boundary should still be stated item-by-item in the RFQ and quotation.

01 / TANK

Tank-Level & Breathing Accessories

Level-gauge and breathing-valve requirements can be reviewed where supported by the selected tank configuration and project basis.

02 / INTERFACE

Inlet / Outlet / Valve Interfaces

Tank inlet/outlet piping, isolation or project valves and related interfaces are coordinated against drawings and system scope.

03 / LOADING

Loading Arms & Loading Equipment

Loading-arm and quantitative-loading requirements are reviewed against the transfer medium, operating basis and site arrangement.

04 / STORAGE

Large-Tank Accessories & Floating-Roof Items

Large storage-tank accessories and floating-roof products are handled as project-specific supply items rather than one universal standard configuration.

Tank-Side Accessories

Confirm the accessory against the actual tank arrangement.

Direct product-source evidence for an oil-collection tank includes a level gauge, breathing valve and inlet/outlet piping as part of the tank configuration. Those examples support the accessory categories, but do not establish one universal accessory model for every tank.

Level Indication

Define tank type, measurement purpose, mounting/interface and any local/remote indication requirement supplied by the project.

Breathing / Vent Item

Confirm the tank service, connection and operating basis before selecting a breathing/vent-related item.

Piping / Valve Interface

Coordinate inlet, outlet, drain or transfer interfaces with nozzle orientation, piping route and project valve/instrument scope.

Floating-Roof / Large-Tank Accessories

Treat floating-roof and other large-tank accessories as separate project-defined items with their own drawings and acceptance basis.

Loading & Transfer Equipment

Define the transfer duty before defining the loading accessory.

Manufacturing-scope evidence includes loading arms and quantitative loading equipment. Selection should be based on the actual product transfer, connection, metering/control boundary and site arrangement.

Transfer Medium

Fluid/service description, properties relevant to material selection, operating temperature and project safety basis.

Loading / Unloading Duty

Source/destination equipment, transfer direction, required operating sequence and flow basis if available.

Mechanical Interface

Connection type, elevation, operating envelope, parking/stowed position and surrounding layout.

Metering / Control Boundary

Clarify whether quantitative loading, valves, instruments or control interfaces are included in the requested package.

Engineering Inputs

Use the tank drawing, P&ID and accessory list as the procurement basis.

01

Tank / Equipment Basis

Tank type, drawing, nozzle schedule, dimensions/interfaces and new-build or retrofit status.

02

Process / Fluid Basis

Fluid, P/T basis where relevant, transfer duty, operating sequence and process documents.

03

Accessory / Interface List

Required item, quantity, connection, mounting, adjacent equipment and instrument/control interface.

04

Project / QA Basis

Client specification, destination requirements, inspection, documents, packing and delivery boundary.

Manufacturing, Inspection & Evidence

Evidence is strongest when tied to a defined accessory and project interface.

LINSON OIL's manufacturing resources include valve, instrument, piping and skid integration. Current supplier evidence also covers large storage-tank accessories, loading arms, quantitative loading and floating-roof products. Inspection should follow the exact item, approved drawing/specification and project ITP rather than a single generic test statement.

Evidence Boundary

Do not publish universal pressure class, flow range, loading rate, connection size, material, seal rating, API compliance or hazardous-area certification unless the exact product/project evidence supports it.

Loading & Tank Accessories RFQ

Send the accessory list and interface data.

Share tank drawings, P&ID, nozzle/interface details, accessory/item list, transfer duty, operating basis, quantity and any project specification, inspection or documentation requirements.

Detailed datasheets, drawings and project-specific technical documents are prepared after the operating conditions, scope of supply and commercial basis have been sufficiently clarified.
