Composite Manufacturing
LINSON OIL supports composite manufacturing resources for GRE/FRP pipelines, downhole composite tubular products, composite tanks and liners, pultruded profiles, molded products, panels, rig mats and related corrosion-resistant products. Each product route is reviewed separately against its service, material system, geometry, interfaces and project requirements.
One composite product family is not evidence for another. Pipe, downhole tubing, tank liner, composite tank, pultruded profile, SMC/BMC part, panel and rig-mat requirements remain route-specific.
01 / Manufacturing Scope
Separate the product family before defining the manufacturing route.
Composite construction, connections, inspection and acceptance vary significantly across product families. The manufacturing plan therefore begins with a clear product definition and project basis.
Surface GRE / FRP Line Pipe
Surface pipeline route with pipe body, fittings, joints, transitions and installation interfaces reviewed as a complete system.
Downhole GRE Tubing
Separate downhole tubular route with well/completion context, end interfaces and running/service requirements.
Composite Tanks / Liners
Self-supporting composite tanks and liner systems are treated as different construction and installation routes.
Profiles / Molded Parts / Panels / Mats
Pultruded profiles, SMC/BMC products, GRP panels and rig mats each follow their own geometry, tooling and assembly requirements.
02 / Material · Resin · Reinforcement Route
Material selection belongs to the specific service and manufacturing route.
The approved material system should be defined from the product application, fluid/environmental exposure, structural duty, interfaces, customer specification and applicable product requirements.
Application Basis
Review fluid/environment, mechanical duty, installation context, drawings and project specification before material selection.
Resin / Matrix Route
Confirm resin/matrix suitability for the exact product and service; do not present one resin chemistry as universal.
Reinforcement Form
Reinforcement format is tied to the selected manufacturing route such as winding, pultrusion, molding, laminate or panel construction.
Surface / Liner Layers
Internal barrier/liner, structural laminate and external surface requirements are documented separately where applicable.
03 / Process-Specific Manufacturing
Use the manufacturing method that belongs to the product route.
No resin grade, fiber ratio, winding angle, cure temperature, production rate or maximum product size is generalized here.
A / WINDING
Filament Winding
Applied where the approved product construction uses a wound composite route. Pipe, downhole tubular and tank constructions remain governed by their own drawings and acceptance basis.
B / PULTRUSION
Pultrusion
Used for continuous-profile products where section geometry, reinforcement and finishing requirements are defined for the specific profile.
C / MOLDING
SMC / BMC Molding
Molded parts are controlled around tooling, inserts, surfaces, geometry and the approved material/product specification.
D / LAMINATE / ASSEMBLY
Liner, Panel & Assembly Work
Liners, panels and rig-mat assemblies require route-specific laminate, joining, surface and assembly controls and are not treated as pipe products.
04 / Product-Route Distinction
Keep application evidence and technical limits inside the correct product family.
A field case or specification for one composite product cannot be used as a universal capability statement for another route.
Surface Pipe ≠ Downhole Tubing
Surface route, connection/installation and exposure differ from completion/running and downhole service context.
Tank ≠ Tank Liner
A self-supporting composite vessel and a liner integrated into another tank are different structural and installation scopes.
Pultrusion ≠ Molding
Continuous profiles and molded components use different tooling, geometry and product-control routes.
Panel / Rig Mat ≠ Pipe
Structural panels and mats are evaluated around structural/assembly duty rather than fluid-transport pipe criteria.
05 / Connections & Interfaces
Manufacturing quality includes the interfaces that connect the composite product to the project.
Connections, fittings, terminations, inserts, nozzles, transitions and field-installation interfaces should be reviewed as part of the product system rather than treated as an afterthought.
Pipe / Fitting / Joint
Coordinate fittings, joints and transitions with the approved pipeline system and installation plan.
Downhole End Interfaces
Review end connections and tubular interfaces against the well/completion basis.
Tank / Liner Penetrations
Coordinate nozzles, manways, drains, vents, terminations and local transitions with tank geometry.
Structural / Insert Interfaces
For molded/profile/panel products, clarify inserts, fastening, support and assembly boundaries from the project drawing.
06 / Inspection & QA
Inspection follows the selected composite route and project requirements.
Incoming material identification, in-process controls, dimensional/interface checks, route-specific testing and final documentation should be defined by the applicable product standard/specification and approved ITP.
Incoming Material / Identification
Control approved materials and identification/documentation according to the product route.
In-Process Control
Record manufacturing checkpoints appropriate to winding, pultrusion, molding, laminate or assembly work.
Geometry / Interface Inspection
Check agreed dimensions, visible workmanship, fittings/connections, penetrations, inserts and assembly interfaces.
Final Test / Documentation
Perform agreed route-specific inspection/testing and compile manufacturing/release records for the approved scope.
07 / Representative Manufacturing Evidence
Show route-specific production evidence instead of one generic “composites” claim.
LINSON OIL's documented resource set includes GRE/FRP pipelines, composite tanks, liners and other composite/corrosion-resistant products. The image pass should demonstrate different product/manufacturing routes separately.
Pipeline / Tubular Evidence
Use verified pipe/tubing manufacturing, fittings, joints and application images without transferring one model/case limit to the whole family.
Tank / Liner Evidence
Keep tank-shell manufacturing and liner fabrication/application evidence clearly separated.
Profiles / Molded / Structural Evidence
Use verified pultrusion, molding, panel and rig-mat manufacturing images for their own product routes.
