Oilfield Produced Fluid Treatment System
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured systems for handling multiphase oilfield produced fluids containing oil, gas, water, sand and other solids. The treatment route is developed from actual fluid behavior, operating conditions, emulsion tendency, water cut, gas content, solids load, temperature, viscosity, salinity, corrosion basis and the required oil, gas and water outlet conditions.
This page covers the complete produced-fluid treatment problem. It is not a produced-water-only treatment page, and no fixed process train is assumed before the inlet and outlet basis is clarified.

Whole-Fluid Treatment Basis
Process selection starts from the complete produced stream and its required oil, gas, water, solids and drain/export destinations.
Produced-Fluid Treatment Logic
Receive, condition, separate, manage solids and route each outlet to the next required step.
The sequence below is a functional framework, not a standard flowsheet. Pre-separation, heating, chemical injection, oil-water separation, desanding, filtration, buffering, metering and water-treatment interfaces are included only when supported by the actual process data and downstream requirements.
- 01 / RECEIVE
Receive & Stabilize
Coordinate inlet manifold, pressure/flow management, surge or buffering and the first equipment interface around incoming field conditions.
- 02 / CONDITION
Condition if Required
Use heating, chemical-injection interfaces or other conditioning only when temperature, viscosity or emulsion behavior justifies it.
- 03 / SEPARATE
Separate Oil / Gas / Water
Apply project-selected gas-liquid and oil-water separation stages according to the phase behavior and required outlet conditions.
- 04 / SOLIDS
Manage Sand & Solids
Add desanding, solids collection, drains, slurry or solid-liquid handling where sand and suspended solids are material to the process.
- 05 / ROUTE
Meter, Buffer & Route
Send oil, gas, produced water and residual streams to the required storage, export, treatment, recovery, reinjection or disposal interfaces.
Applications
For field operations where oil, gas, water and solids must be handled as one connected production problem.
The final system can be new-build, upgrade or replacement. Process scope should follow actual field data rather than copying a previous project configuration.
Well Pads & Cluster Stations
Initial treatment and phase handling before produced streams move to wider gathering or central processing facilities.
Central Gathering / Treatment
Coordinated oil, gas, produced-water, sand and sludge interfaces inside a larger field-treatment train.
High-Water-Cut / Mature Fields
Projects where rising water handling, oil recovery, solids and outlet routing must be reviewed together.
Remote / Modular Upgrades
Skid/package execution where transport, lifting, utilities, existing tie-ins and field installation restrictions matter.
Typical Treatment Units
Combine only the units needed to reach the required downstream conditions.
The system may use pressure equipment, heaters, chemical-injection interfaces, desanding, filters, tanks, pumps, instruments and controls, but no single equipment list applies to every produced-fluid project.
Pre-Separation / Phase Separation
Two-phase or three-phase separation can remove free gas and divide oil/water phases according to the project duty.
Heating & Chemical Injection
Heating or chemical-injection interfaces may be added where viscosity, temperature or emulsion behavior requires conditioning.
Desanding / Solids Handling
Desanding, solids collection and discharge interfaces are selected from sand loading, particle behavior and maintenance philosophy.
Filtration / Polishing
Filters or polishing stages can be evaluated where downstream oil/water handling or equipment protection requires additional removal.
Buffering / Metering / Transfer
Tanks or vessels, metering interfaces and pumps can be included where buffer capacity, measurement or controlled transfer is required.
Instrumentation / Controls / Skid
Valves, instruments, electrical/control components, piping, structural base and interconnections are integrated according to the approved scope.
Engineering Inputs
The treatment route depends on the full fluid and outlet basis.
Provide available Process Data, PFD/P&ID, current field observations, outlet specifications and site interfaces. When some information is missing, the first engineering task is to identify the clarification items rather than assume a standard treatment train.
Inlet Fluid & Flow
Total liquid, oil/gas/water split or water cut/GOR where available, pressure/temperature, density, viscosity, composition and flow variation.
Emulsion / Sand / Corrosion
Emulsion tendency, sand/solids load and particle information, salinity, H2S/CO2 and other corrosion or fouling considerations.
Required Outlet Conditions
Oil export/storage requirement, gas routing, produced-water destination and required basis before water treatment, reinjection, reuse or disposal.
Site / Utilities / Project Scope
Battery limits, plot/transport, heating/chemical utilities, electrical/hazardous area, materials, codes, inspection/FAT, documentation and delivery requirements.
Manufacturing, Integration & FAT
Coordinate vessels, piping, instruments, controls and treatment interfaces as one approved system.
LINSON OIL resources support pressure-vessel fabrication, piping prefabrication, skid assembly, valve/instrument installation, electrical/control integration and factory preassembly. Inspection, applicable NDT and pressure/leak testing, functional checks and FAT are arranged according to the approved project specification and ITP.
Scope Release
Confirm process route, equipment list, materials, interfaces, controls and inspection points before fabrication.
Fabrication & Skid Assembly
Fabricate applicable vessels/equipment and integrate piping, valves, instruments, structural base and utilities to scope.
Inspection & Functional Checks
Perform material, dimensional, applicable NDT/pressure/leak, instrument and control-system checks according to the ITP.
FAT & Delivery Preparation
Arrange FAT, customer/EPC/TPI witness support, project quality records and packing/delivery preparation where included.

Send the complete produced-fluid basis, not only the water stream.
Share available liquid/gas rates, water cut or phase split, pressure/temperature, fluid properties, sand/solids, emulsion behavior, salinity/corrosion information, required oil/gas/water outlet conditions, PFD/P&ID, Data Sheet, Technical Specification and site interfaces. We will clarify the treatment train before quotation.
Detailed datasheets, drawings and project-specific technical documents are prepared after the operating conditions, scope of supply and commercial basis have been sufficiently clarified.
