Long-Life Wellhead Sealing Device
LINSON OIL supports wellhead sealing-device configuration for reciprocating-rod artificial-lift wells. The device is reviewed around rod movement, wellhead connection, sealing boundary, alignment, fluid exposure, maintenance access and the operating conditions supplied by the customer.
“Long-Life” identifies the product family and design objective; it is not a fixed service-life guarantee. Pressure, temperature, rod size, seal material, leakage performance, maintenance interval and hazardous-area requirements remain project- and product-specific.

Sealing Problem
A moving rod crosses a pressure-containing wellhead boundary.
The engineering task is to maintain a controlled sealing interface while the rod reciprocates and the wellhead is exposed to actual field alignment, fluid, pressure, temperature and maintenance conditions.
Moving Side
Rod Motion & Alignment
Stroke, frequency, rod condition, lateral movement, alignment and surface-drive behavior influence the sealing interface.
Pressure Side
Wellhead & Produced Fluid
Connection geometry, pressure/temperature basis, oil/water/gas, sand/solids and site practices define the service environment.
Device Configuration
Define the sealing device from interfaces, not from one universal seal arrangement.
Sealing Assembly
Selected according to the product configuration and confirmed operating/service basis.
Rod Passage & Guidance
Matched to rod geometry, movement, alignment and the required wellhead interface.
Housing / Adjustment
Housing, adjustment or preload provisions are confirmed from the exact product route and customer operating practice.
Leak / Drain Interface
Observation, collection or drain requirements are coordinated with wellhead layout and site procedures where applicable.
Wellhead Connection
Connection and installation envelope are checked against drawings, photos and project interface data.
Wellhead Integration
Confirm the physical interface before product release.
For retrofit projects, photographs and existing wellhead drawings are especially useful. For new projects, the wellhead and artificial-lift interface should be clarified before the final device drawing and supply scope are released.
- 01
Verify Existing Interface
Review connection geometry, rod passage, available space and adjacent wellhead components.
- 02
Confirm Motion & Service Basis
Align rod motion and service conditions with the selected sealing-device route.
- 03
Release Connection / Installation Scope
Define included interfaces, installation boundary, maintenance access and project documentation.
Maintenance & Inspection
Design maintenance around actual field access and failure history.
A sealing device is a maintained wellhead component. Inspection, adjustment and replacement planning should follow the exact product, operator procedure and service conditions rather than a fixed website interval.
Rod / Seal Contact Review
Inspect the moving interface, alignment and condition according to the released device and field procedure.
Leak / Drain Observation
Monitor applicable observation/collection points and document unusual leakage or operating changes.
Adjustment / Replacement Access
Plan tool access, safe adjustment and replacement based on the actual wellhead layout and operating procedure.
Project-Specific Acceptance
Dimensional/interface checks and any functional or pressure-related acceptance follow the approved product/project basis.
Direct Product Evidence
The source brochure directly presents a long-lasting wellhead sealing device.
The artificial-lift source places this device alongside the flexible lifting rod and other core components of the long-life intelligent ultra-long-stroke oil production system. The source also describes sealing, anti-spray/alignment-adjustment and maintenance-related functions. Any product-specific test pressure, replacement-cycle or configuration detail remains tied to the documented model/source and is not converted into a universal LINSON specification.
Evidence Rule
During the image pass, use the exact device photo and source page. Do not convert “Long-Life” into a fixed guaranteed service interval.
