Associated Gas Recovery & Utilization
LINSON OIL develops project-specific associated-gas recovery and utilization systems from inlet separation and pressure management through compression, dehydration/treatment, light-hydrocarbon recovery, LNG or fuel-gas routing, and downstream product interfaces.
Direct project evidence supports associated-gas recovery systems with metering/compression, drying, light-hydrocarbon recovery and LNG-related process units. Congo project capacities and product configurations are treated as case-specific evidence, not standard LINSON OIL capacity, recovery-rate, product-yield, energy-consumption or outlet-specification guarantees.
Associated Gas Source
Start with the real gas source, not a predefined recovery package.
Gas composition, pressure, liquids, contaminants and operating variability determine what inlet handling and downstream utilization route are technically practical.
Source & Upstream Interface
Clarify whether gas comes from production separation, gathering facilities or another upstream process, including tie-in and pressure conditions.
Gas Composition
Provide hydrocarbon composition, water/moisture condition, H2S/CO2 where applicable, nitrogen/inerts and other components relevant to processing.
Liquids / Solids / Carryover
Free liquids, condensate, oil carryover, solids and other contaminants affect inlet separation, filtration and compression protection.
Operating Cases
Normal/min/max/design flow, pressure and temperature plus startup, turndown and future-phase requirements where available.
Integrated Recovery Route
Move from inlet gas to a usable product through a project-specific process train.
The sequence below is a process framework. Compression stages, dehydration/treatment route, hydrocarbon recovery and LNG/fuel-gas sections are included only where required by the confirmed gas analysis and utilization objective.
- 01 / INLET
Separate & Meter
Condition the inlet with gas-liquid separation, filtration and measurement where required by the source and compressor/process boundary.
- 02 / COMPRESS
Manage Pressure / Compress
Establish the pressure level required for downstream treatment, recovery, liquefaction, fuel-gas or export service.
- 03 / TREAT
Dehydrate / Treat
Remove water and other specified contaminants to protect and enable the selected downstream recovery process.
- 04 / RECOVER
Recover NGL / Light Hydrocarbons
Configure hydrocarbon-recovery duty according to feed composition, product objective and downstream product handling.
- 05 / UTILIZE
LNG / Fuel Gas / Export
Route treated gas to LNG, fuel-gas, power-generation, export or another agreed downstream use.
Recovery / Utilization Routes
The utilization target determines the downstream process complexity.
Associated gas can support different commercial and operating objectives. The right route depends on composition, available infrastructure, required products, logistics, utilities and project economics supplied by the customer/EPC.
NGL / Light Hydrocarbon Recovery
Recover marketable liquid hydrocarbon streams where feed composition and project economics justify the required process train.
LNG Route
Evaluate liquefaction only after gas pretreatment, product specification, storage/loading and utility requirements are defined.
Fuel Gas / Power Utilization
Route appropriately conditioned gas to site fuel or power-generation users where their pressure/composition requirements are known.
Export / Further Processing
Define product-gas handover to pipeline, compression, downstream gas processing or another client-owned system.
Product & Off-Gas Interfaces
Define each product, recycle, vent, drain and off-gas stream.
Recovered Liquids
NGL/light-hydrocarbon products, stabilized liquids or condensate require defined storage, transfer, loading and product interfaces.
Treated / Residual Gas
Dry/residual gas may be routed to LNG, fuel gas, power generation, export or further processing according to the project basis.
Recycle / Regeneration / Off-Gas
Compression recycle, regeneration gas, flash gas, vents and flare connections require clear destinations and control responsibility.
Water / Drain Streams
Produced/condensed water, closed drains and maintenance liquids are coordinated with the site disposal or treatment system.
Utilities & Battery Limits
Recovery projects depend on site utilities and clearly assigned interfaces.
Power / Fuel / Compression Utilities
Available electrical power, fuel, driver philosophy and compressor-related project utilities where applicable.
Heating / Cooling / Refrigeration Interfaces
Cooling medium, heating medium and refrigeration-related boundaries are defined for the selected treatment/recovery route.
Instrument / Control / Safety
Instrument air, control-system interface, shutdown logic, relief/flare interfaces and hazardous-area basis if specified.
Site / Product Logistics
Plot space, transport/lifting restrictions, storage/loading interfaces, field installation and export/delivery scope.
Engineering Inputs
Define the gas composition and utilization objective before selecting the process train.
When information is incomplete, engineering clarification should first close the gaps that affect separation, compression, treatment, recovery and product handling.
Feed Gas Analysis
Hydrocarbon composition, water/moisture condition, H2S/CO2 where applicable, nitrogen/inerts, liquid carryover, solids and other contaminants.
Operating Envelope
Normal/min/max/design flow, pressure, temperature, turndown, startup/shutdown and future-stage requirements.
Product / Utilization Objective
Target NGL/LNG/fuel-gas/export route, required product specification, product storage/loading basis and residual-gas destination.
Project Documents
Process Data, gas analysis, P&ID, Technical Specification, Equipment List, plot plan, utility summary, ITP/FAT and delivery requirements.
Congo Project Evidence
A multi-phase Congo project provides direct associated-gas recovery and utilization evidence.
Source material for the Congo Jiayou oilfield project documents associated-gas recovery in multiple phases. The project scope includes inlet metering/compression, drying, light-hydrocarbon recovery, product loading and supporting utilities/control systems; later phases also include natural-gas liquefaction. The same source describes propane, butane, stabilized light hydrocarbons and LNG as project products, with residual dry gas used for power generation in the documented project.
Evidence Boundary
The Congo phase capacities and product slate remain project-specific evidence. They are not published here as standard LINSON OIL capacities, guaranteed recovery rates, product yields, power consumption or universal outlet specifications.
