Natural Gas Dehydration Systems
TEG Gas Dehydration Unit
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured TEG gas dehydration units using triethylene glycol absorption and regeneration circulation. The contactor, glycol circulation and regeneration functions, piping, instruments, controls and package boundary are developed from the gas composition, moisture basis, operating conditions, downstream requirement and project specification.

Customized Supply
Configuration, material selection, instrumentation and auxiliary systems are confirmed against the project basis.
Integrated Package
Designed for equipment supply, skid integration, documentation and site-specific delivery requirements.
Working Principle
Water removal through absorption and controlled regeneration.
Wet natural gas enters the contactor and contacts lean TEG. Water is absorbed from the gas into the glycol phase, while the dehydrated gas leaves for the downstream process. The water-rich glycol is then routed through the project-defined conditioning and regeneration loop before returning to the contactor as lean glycol. Final process design remains subject to confirmed project data.
Wet Gas Feed
Inlet conditions, liquid carryover, contaminants and required pretreatment are reviewed before package selection.
TEG Absorption
Lean glycol contacts the gas in an absorption column designed around the approved process and mechanical basis.
Rich Glycol Handling
Rich glycol can be routed through flash separation, filtration and heat exchange as required by the project scope.
Regeneration & Return
Regenerated lean glycol is cooled, conditioned and circulated back to the contactor under controlled operating logic.
Applications
Dehydration packages for gas handling and processing projects.
TEG dehydration is reviewed as one process option within the wider gas-treatment train. Upstream separation, gas composition, moisture requirement, downstream use, utilities, plot limits and control philosophy can all affect the package configuration.
Gas Gathering
For gathering stations and field facilities where water management supports downstream handling and equipment protection.
Gas Treatment Trains
For integration with separation, sweetening, hydrocarbon recovery, stabilization or other project-specific gas treatment steps.
Pipeline & Downstream Gas Conditioning
For gas streams requiring project-defined moisture control before transport or subsequent processing.
Associated Gas & Field Processing
TEG dehydration can be evaluated within associated-gas and field-processing schemes where the required gas condition supports this treatment route.
TEG Circulation & Regeneration
A circulation loop configured for the actual operating envelope.
The glycol loop is engineered as a connected system rather than a collection of standalone components. Circulation conditions, heat exchange, flash handling, filtration, regeneration duty, controls and utility availability are evaluated during technical clarification.
- 01
Lean Glycol to Contactor
Conditioned lean glycol is delivered to the absorber through a circulation arrangement selected for the confirmed package design.
- 02
Water Absorption from Gas
Gas-liquid contacting supports moisture removal according to the approved process performance basis and operating conditions.
- 03
Rich Glycol Conditioning
Flash separation, filtering, heat exchange and other conditioning functions are included where required by the process design.
- 04
Regeneration and Reuse
The regeneration section removes absorbed water so glycol can return to circulation under the agreed operating and control philosophy.
