Skid System Integration

LINSON OIL coordinates process equipment, piping, valves, instruments, electrical items, controls, supports and skid structures into project-specific packages built around the approved process basis, P&ID, Data Sheets, Technical Specification and site interfaces.

Skid dimensions, weight, transport split, installation method, field-work reduction and delivery schedule are project-specific. Modularization benefits demonstrated by one reference are not presented as universal results for every package.

Image pass: use real equipment, piping, valve, instrument and skid-structure integration evidence from verified projects or manufacturing records.

01 / Integration Role

A skid is a coordinated package, not equipment placed on steel.

The integration task is to align the process duty, equipment arrangement, piping, valves, instruments, electrical/control scope, structural support, access, lifting, transport and customer/EPC interfaces before fabrication and assembly.

Process Equipment

Coordinate separators, vessels, filters, heaters, pumps and other process equipment according to the approved process scheme.

Piping / Valves

Define process piping, drains, vents, valves, fittings and tie-ins around the approved P&ID and battery limits.

Instrumentation / Control

Coordinate measurement, alarms, local instruments, control interfaces and signal routing within the confirmed project scope.

Structure / Access

Integrate skid base, supports, access, lifting and transport considerations with equipment and piping layout.

02 / Layout · Access · Lifting · Transport

Design the package around operation, maintenance and movement.

Equipment arrangement should account for operation and maintenance access, removable items, lifting points, transport envelope, center-of-gravity considerations where required, shipment split and site installation constraints.

Operating Access

Keep valves, instruments, drains, sample points and routine operating interfaces accessible.

Maintenance Access

Review removable internals/components, instrument maintenance, piping access and required service clearances.

Lifting / Handling

Coordinate lifting/handling requirements with package structure, shipment plan and destination-site conditions.

Transport / Shipment Split

Review transport restrictions and decide whether the package ships as one skid or project-defined modules/subassemblies.

03 / Battery Limits & Tie-Ins

Define exactly where the skid starts and stops.

Clear battery limits reduce ambiguity between the skid supplier, EPC contractor, site contractor and end user.

Process Tie-Ins

Inlet/outlet connections, drains, vents, flare/closed-drain interfaces and other process boundaries as applicable.

Utilities

Power, instrument air, fuel, water, chemicals and other utility interfaces where required by the package.

Electrical / Control

Power feeds, local panels, junctions, signal boundaries, communications and control-system responsibilities.

Mechanical / Civil

Base/foundation interface, anchor points, lifting/handling and any field structural or piping responsibility.

04 / Factory Prefabrication

Move practical integration work into the factory where the project allows.

LINSON OIL's documented production route includes pressure-vessel fabrication, pipe prefabrication, skid assembly and valve/instrument/electrical/control integration. Factory preassembly is used where practical to reduce field installation and commissioning work.

Equipment Placement

Position equipment and supports according to approved GA/layout and maintenance access requirements.

Pipe Prefabrication

Fabricate and fit process piping, fittings, valves, drains and vents within the confirmed package scope.

Instrument / Electrical Integration

Install and connect project-scope instruments, electrical items, panels and control interfaces where applicable.

Module / Shipment Readiness

Prepare the package or project-defined modules for inspection, FAT, preservation, packing and shipment.

05 / Assembly · Wiring · Tubing

Assemble the package around the approved interfaces.

01

Mechanical Assembly

Equipment, supports, platforms and structural items assembled to the approved package arrangement.

02

Piping / Valves

Piping, fittings and valves installed with orientation, access and interface requirements checked during assembly.

03

Instrument Tubing / Wiring

Instrument tubing and project-scope wiring routed and terminated according to approved drawings and interface requirements.

04

Identification / Documentation

Equipment, valves, instruments and package items identified/documented in line with project requirements.

06 / Inspection & FAT

Verify the integrated package, not only its individual components.

Inspection and FAT can cover mechanical completion, dimensional checks, piping/valve assembly, applicable pressure/leak tests, instrument/electrical/control checks and documentation according to the project specification and ITP.

Mechanical Completion

Check installed equipment, piping, valves, supports, internals and overall assembly as applicable.

Pressure / Leak Tests

Perform approved package/equipment/piping tests where required by the technical basis.

I&C / Electrical Checks

Verify project-scope instrument, electrical and control functions/interfaces according to the agreed FAT plan.

Customer / EPC / TPI

Coordinate document review and witness/hold points with customer, EPC and third-party inspectors where required.

07 / Modularization Evidence

Use project evidence without turning one modularization strategy into a universal promise.

The He50 three-phase separator skid is a direct documented example of modular skid design and factory-prefabrication logic. Its design emphasized modularization, compact arrangement, transport/install/move considerations and internal integration of valves, piping and fittings.

Documented Reference

He50 Three-Phase Separator Skid

The source describes an integrated skid design based on modularization, compactness, transport convenience, rapid installation and flexible relocation, with valves, piping and fittings integrated for internal assembly and factory prefabrication.

Boundary

Those documented design principles belong to the He50 project. Other skids require their own transport, lifting, layout, modularization and site-installation study.

Skid System RFQ

Send the process basis and package interfaces.

Useful inputs include Process Data, P&ID, Equipment Data Sheets, Technical Specification, equipment list, battery limits, utilities, controls, hazardous-area basis if specified, plot/transport constraints, inspection requirements and destination.

Detailed datasheets, drawings and project-specific technical documents are prepared after the operating conditions, scope of supply and commercial basis have been sufficiently clarified.
