Composite Tank Liner System
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured composite liner and inner-liner systems for tanks and suitable project vessels where the stored or process medium must be isolated from the original substrate. Liner construction, interfaces, installation method, inspection access, repair approach and replacement strategy are defined from the asset geometry, medium, temperature, pressure basis, corrosion mechanism and site conditions.
This page is for tank and project-vessel internal liner systems. It does not represent a pipe liner, downhole tubing liner or complete FRP tank. No fixed thickness, resin system, service temperature, pressure capability, chemical-resistance envelope or design life is assumed.

Internal Isolation as a System
Liner body, penetrations, transitions, access, substrate condition and field installation must be reviewed together rather than as an isolated material layer.
Corrosion-Protection Logic
Assess the asset and service, define the liner duty, resolve interfaces and plan installation and maintenance.
A liner concept is only as reliable as its interfaces and installation basis. Existing condition, geometry, nozzles, supports, internals, access limitations, medium chemistry, operating cycles and shutdown constraints all influence the final configuration.
- 01 / ASSESS
Assess Asset & Service
Review tank/vessel geometry, substrate, stored medium, corrosion history, temperature, pressure basis and operating cycle.
- 02 / DEFINE
Define Liner Duty
Establish the required internal-isolation function and the project conditions the composite liner must address.
- 03 / INTERFACE
Resolve Penetrations & Transitions
Coordinate nozzles, manways, drains, supports, coils/mixers where present and local transition details.
- 04 / INSTALL
Plan Fabrication & Installation
Confirm access, assembly sequence, substrate preparation/repair responsibility and field-installation constraints.
- 05 / MAINTAIN
Plan Inspection, Repair & Replacement
Define maintainability, inspection access and project-specific repair or replacement philosophy before finalizing the scope.
Applications
For new or existing assets where internal composite isolation is technically justified.
Suitability must be confirmed against the actual substrate, medium, P/T basis, corrosion mechanism, internal geometry and site execution conditions.
Storage Tanks
Internal liner systems for tanks storing project-defined liquids where composite isolation is selected as the corrosion-protection approach.
Project Vessels
Suitable vessel applications where geometry, pressure/temperature basis and interfaces are specifically reviewed for liner integration.
Existing-Asset Rehabilitation
Liner concepts for existing tanks/vessels after substrate condition, previous repairs, corrosion history and remaining project scope are assessed.
Corrosive-Service Isolation
Project-specific internal isolation where medium compatibility and operating conditions support a composite liner approach.
Liner System & Interfaces
Treat the liner, penetrations and installation interfaces as one corrosion-protection system.
The exact liner architecture is project-specific. The website therefore does not assign a universal laminate, thickness, attachment method or repair procedure to every tank or vessel.
Composite Liner / Inner Shell
Liner construction and composite material system are selected from the service medium, operating conditions, geometry and project specification.
Substrate Interface
Existing wall/floor condition, preparation or repair responsibility and local geometric irregularities are reviewed before installation.
Nozzles / Manways / Penetrations
Process nozzles, drains, manways, instrument penetrations and other openings require project-specific transition details.
Internal Equipment Interfaces
Supports, coils, mixers, piping, ladders or other internals are coordinated where they affect the liner boundary.
Installation / Access
Factory-prepared components and/or field work are planned around access, lifting, assembly, shutdown and site restrictions.
Inspection / Repair / Replacement
Inspection access and project-specific repair/replacement provisions are considered early so the liner remains maintainable.
Engineering Inputs
Existing condition, medium and interface details define the liner concept.
For existing assets, inspection findings and photographs are often as important as the original GA. For new assets, provide the vessel/tank design basis, internal arrangement and project corrosion philosophy where available.
Tank / Vessel Geometry
GA, dimensions, orientation, substrate/material, bottom/roof/head geometry, nozzles, manways and internal equipment.
Medium & Operating Conditions
Stored/process medium, composition, temperature, pressure or atmospheric basis, filling/emptying cycles and upset conditions.
Corrosion / Inspection History
Corrosion mechanism/locations, wall condition, previous coating/liner/repair history, inspection findings and known damage.
Site / Installation / Scope
Access openings, shutdown window, surface-preparation/repair split, lifting, environmental/site constraints, inspection documents and owner/EPC requirements.
Composite Manufacturing & Inspection
Keep liner fabrication and inspection tied to the approved composite system and asset interfaces.
LINSON OIL composite resources support tanks, liners, GRE/FRP pipelines and other corrosion-resistant products. For liner projects, production/installation planning, dimensional and visual checks, interface verification, project-specified integrity checks and documentation are defined by the approved liner concept and inspection plan. Metal-equipment NDT is not presented as composite-liner-specific proof.
Engineering Release
Confirm service, asset geometry, interfaces, liner concept, field responsibilities and inspection requirements.
Composite Preparation / Fabrication
Prepare project-selected liner components or materials according to the released composite design and production basis.
Installation & Interface Control
Coordinate fit-up, penetrations, transitions, local details and field work against the approved tank/vessel interfaces.
Inspection & Records
Perform project-defined visual, dimensional/interface and integrity checks and compile the required installation/inspection records.

Send the asset condition, medium and internal-interface data.
Share tank/vessel GA, substrate/material, medium and composition, temperature, pressure or atmospheric basis, corrosion/inspection history, internal equipment, nozzle/manway details, site access, photographs, Data Sheets and Technical Specification. We will clarify the liner concept and project boundary before quotation.
Detailed datasheets, drawings and project-specific technical documents are prepared after the operating conditions, scope of supply and commercial basis have been sufficiently clarified.
