Project-Dependent Inspection & Release Control
Quality Control
& FAT
LINSON OIL supports a controlled quality workflow from incoming material inspection through fabrication, applicable NDT, pressure and functional testing, FAT, pre-shipment inspection and final release documentation.
Inspection methods, witness points, test scope and documentation are defined against the actual equipment, approved ITP, project specification and client requirements.
Quality Control Process
CONTROL POINTS FROM MATERIAL RECEIPT TO PROJECT RELEASE.
The inspection plan is coordinated around the actual supply scope, equipment type, design conditions, customer requirements and applicable standards.
Incoming Material Inspection
Incoming materials and purchased components can be checked against approved specifications and certificates.
Certificate & Traceability Control
Material identification and certificate verification support traceability through final documentation.
Welding Control
Welding activities are controlled with applicable procedures, qualified personnel and inspection requirements.
Dimensional Inspection
Key dimensions, interfaces and fabrication tolerances can be verified against approved drawings.
Assembly Inspection
Mechanical assembly, piping, valves, instruments and skid integration are checked against scope.
Coating & Protection Inspection
Surface preparation, coating and marking can be inspected according to project requirements.
Inspection & NDT
Applicable methods selected for the project
RT, UT, MT, PT and other inspection methods may be used where applicable, based on equipment design, material, welding scope, code requirements and approved ITP.

Radiographic Testing
UT
Ultrasonic Testing
MT
Magnetic Particle
PT
Penetrant Testing
Pressure & Functional Testing
Verify performance before release
Test activities are defined according to the equipment type, design conditions, approved documents and project requirements.
Hydrostatic / Pressure Test
Pressure testing may be performed where required by design, code or approved test procedure.
Leak / Tightness Test
Leak, tightness or pneumatic testing can be included where required.
Valve & Instrument Checks
Selected functional verifications can be carried out within the agreed equipment scope.
Electrical & Control Checks
Electrical, instrumentation and control checks can be included in FAT procedures.
Factory Acceptance Testing
FAT BUILT AROUND THE APPROVED ITP & PROJECT SCOPE.
FAT content depends on the equipment, package boundary, client specification and approved inspection plan. Customer, EPC and third-party inspection participation can be coordinated when required.
Readiness Review
Confirm the agreed scope, drawings, inspection points and test prerequisites before FAT.
Witness Points
Coordinate customer, EPC or third-party witness / hold points where specified.
Functional Verification
Check applicable mechanical, instrument, electrical and control functions within the agreed package scope.
Final Verification
Review outstanding items, identification, documentation and release status before shipment.
Quality Documentation
Records match the actual project requirements
The final quality file is defined by the equipment type, contract, ITP and client requirements. It may include the records below where applicable.
- Material: certificates, identification and traceability records.
- Fabrication: welding / qualification records and dimensional inspection records where required.
- Testing: applicable NDT, pressure, leak and functional test records.
- FAT / Inspection: FAT records, witness records, punch-list closure and release documents as specified.
NDT and laboratory resources, including CNAS-accredited laboratory resources within the manufacturing system, are presented separately on the NDT & Laboratory page. Applicable facility, scope and certification are confirmed by project.
