Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 24, 2023

B2B Operations Only

LINSON OIL is a specialized manufacturer of petroleum equipment. We exclusively engage in B2B transactions, OEM/ODM manufacturing, and EPC procurement. These Terms of Service apply strictly to commercial entities and do not cover retail consumer rights.

01. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, or placing a purchase order with LINSON OIL ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern the design, manufacturing, and supply of all industrial equipment, including but not limited to Separation Equipment, Heating Systems, Pressure Vessels, and Skid-Mounted Modular Solutions.

If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a corporation, EPC contractor, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

02. Custom Engineering & OEM/ODM

Given the specialized nature of petroleum equipment, most products are manufactured to custom specifications (OEM/ODM).

  • Process Design & Sizing: All heat load calculations, process designs, and P&ID developments are based on the inlet condition data provided by the Client. The Client is responsible for the accuracy of wellsite data.
  • Compliance: Unless otherwise specified in the technical agreement, equipment will be designed and manufactured in compliance with Chinese National Standards (GB 150). ASME certification or other international standards must be explicitly requested and contracted prior to production.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Clients are entitled to conduct FAT at our Dongying manufacturing base. Notice of intent to attend FAT must be provided at least 14 days in advance.

03. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Due to fluctuations in raw material costs (e.g., 316L stainless steel, specialized alloys), prices are subject to change until a formal Purchase Order is acknowledged and the initial deposit is received.

Standard payment terms for international EPC and wholesale orders are 30% T/T advance payment upon contract signing, and 70% T/T before shipment (after successful FAT and provision of readiness documentation), unless a Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight is mutually agreed upon.

04. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss

Delivery terms are governed by Incoterms® 2020. Standard international shipments are quoted on FOB Qingdao or CIF terms.

  • The Company provides export-standard packaging (e.g., seaworthy crating, shrink-wrapping for skid modules) suitable for long-distance ocean freight.
  • Risk of loss transfers to the Buyer in accordance with the agreed Incoterm.
  • Lead times are estimates based on current factory capacity and commence only upon receipt of the advance payment and approval of final manufacturing drawings.

05. Warranty Policy

LINSON OIL provides an industry-leading standard 2-year warranty (24 months) from the date of shipment, or 18 months from the date of commissioning, whichever occurs first. Long-term strategic partners may qualify for extended 2.5-year warranties.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal industrial use. It does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from improper installation, if not commissioned by LINSON OIL personnel.
  • Operation outside of the designed pressure, temperature, or corrosive media specifications.
  • Normal wear and tear of consumable parts (e.g., gaskets, standard seals, filter elements).
  • Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized third parties.

06. Intellectual Property

LINSON OIL holds 87 registered patents and 1 software copyright. All engineering drawings, proprietary process designs, software control logic, and manufacturing techniques remain the exclusive intellectual property of LINSON OIL.

The purchase of equipment does not convey any license or right to reverse-engineer, duplicate, or distribute our proprietary designs. For OEM/ODM clients requiring custom branding, a separate Non-Disclosure and IP Agreement (NDA) will be executed.

07. Governing Law

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you equipment or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from international contracts shall be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration in Beijing.
