Wellhead Heater for Field Production & Gathering
LINSON OIL supplies wellhead heating equipment and skid-mounted heating packages for oil and gas production and gathering applications. The heating route, process connections, controls and supply boundary are defined from the actual medium, required temperature rise, operating conditions, site utilities and project specification.
- 01 / Clarify
- Medium, heating duty, operating conditions and site basis.
- 02 / Engineer
- Heating route, piping, controls and skid interfaces.
- 03 / Deliver
- Manufacturing, inspection and FAT by project.
Project-specific package
Wellhead heating can be supplied as individual equipment or as a skid package with the agreed piping, valves, instruments and controls.
Applications
Heating duties close to the wellhead and gathering system.
The final heater arrangement is selected against the medium, flow rate, inlet and required outlet temperature, pressure, utilities, site environment and downstream process requirement.
Wellhead Production-Fluid Heating
For project-defined heating of crude oil, gas or multiphase production fluids before transfer into the gathering or treatment system.
WELLHEAD · PRODUCTION FLUID · TEMPERATURE CONDITIONING
Gathering & Transfer Heating
For field gathering and transfer duties where the process stream must reach a specified temperature before downstream handling or transportation.
GATHERING · TRANSFER · PROCESS TEMPERATURE
Viscous Crude & Low-Ambient Conditions
Heating can be evaluated where crude viscosity, ambient temperature or operating sequence creates a defined need for thermal conditioning.
VISCOSITY · AMBIENT CONDITION · FLOW SUPPORT
Skid-Mounted Field Packages
The heater may be integrated with piping, valves, instruments, control elements and structural support to match the required field installation boundary.

Heating Logic
Heating starts with the process question.
A wellhead heater should be selected only after the required heating duty and process boundary are clear. The review starts with the medium, flow rate, inlet condition, target outlet temperature, pressure, available utilities and downstream operating requirement.
- 01
Define the heating objective
Clarify the affected stream, required temperature rise, operating sequence and whether the duty is continuous, intermittent, startup-related or seasonal.
- 02
Review fluid and operating conditions
Evaluate fluid composition, flow rate, pressure, viscosity, water content, solids, gas content, corrosion considerations and available utilities.
- 03
Select the practical heating arrangement
Water bath, vacuum phase-change, electric or other applicable heating routes can be reviewed according to the required duty, utility basis, installation conditions and project specification.
- 04
Integrate controls and field interfaces
Instrumentation, shutdown logic, piping connections, insulation, access, lifting, control panels and hazardous-area requirements are evaluated by project.
Configuration & Supply Scope
The supply boundary is defined around the actual field interface.
A wellhead heater may be supplied as a standalone heating unit or as an integrated skid. Final component selection and battery limits are confirmed during technical clarification.
Heating Equipment
Heating body, vessel or heat-transfer arrangement selected for the confirmed duty and project basis.
Process Piping & Valves
Inlet/outlet connections, isolation, bypass, drain and vent arrangements as included in the agreed scope.
Instrumentation & Control
Temperature, pressure, alarms, interlocks and control interfaces are defined to the project requirement.
Skid & Site Interfaces
Structural frame, access, insulation, lifting, electrical interfaces and site connections are reviewed according to the required package boundary.
Engineering Inputs
Better input creates a stronger technical proposal.
If information is incomplete, our engineering team can identify the key questions needed for preliminary evaluation. Final design and supply scope remain subject to project-specific technical clarification.
