Custom Pressure Vessels
LINSON OIL supplies project-specific pressure vessels for oil and gas production, gathering, processing, utilities and related industrial service. Vessel duty, orientation, design pressure and temperature, medium, corrosion basis, materials, internals, nozzles, supports, inspection and documentation are confirmed from the Process Data, Data Sheet, P&ID, Technical Specification and applicable project requirements.

Project-Specific Pressure Equipment
Dimensions, materials, wall thickness, internals, nozzle schedule, support arrangement and code basis are established only after the design conditions are confirmed.
Pressure Vessel Engineering Logic
Start with the process duty and design envelope, then define a manufacturable vessel.
A custom pressure vessel is not defined by a generic diameter or pressure rating. Process function, operating/design conditions, fluid composition, corrosion/erosion risks, code basis, site loads, internals, inspection requirements and interfaces must be aligned before mechanical configuration is released.
-
01 / DUTY
Define Vessel Duty
Clarify whether the vessel provides separation, knockout, scrubber, surge/buffer, filtration, process hold-up or another specified pressure-containing function.
-
02 / BASIS
Establish Design Conditions
Confirm operating/design pressure and temperature, medium/composition, density, viscosity, liquid/gas behavior, solids, corrosion basis and applicable design code.
-
03 / CONFIGURE
Configure Mechanical Interfaces
Develop orientation, heads, nozzles, manways, internals, supports, platforms, lifting points, instruments and piping interfaces around the project layout.
-
04 / VERIFY
Fabricate & Verify
Apply material traceability, welding controls, dimensional inspection, applicable NDT, pressure testing, coating checks, documentation and FAT/TPI requirements.
Applications
Pressure vessels for defined process functions across field and plant systems.
If the procurement object is already a separator, filter separator, flare knockout drum or another dedicated product, use the corresponding product page for process-specific selection.
Production & Gathering
Pressure-containing equipment for oil/gas/water production, separation, buffering and gathering duties.
Gas Processing
Process vessels serving dehydration, gas conditioning, condensate handling and related gas-treatment systems.
Liquid / Utility Service
Project-defined surge, buffer, receiver or process hold-up service where pressure containment is part of the approved duty.
Skid-Integrated Vessel
Pressure vessels integrated with piping, valves, instruments, controls and structural skids inside a package boundary.
Typical Structure & Configuration
Configure the shell, internals and interfaces for the actual service.
Horizontal or vertical orientation, head type, internal arrangement, nozzle quantity, material, corrosion allowance, support type, platform/access and instrument connections are selected from the approved mechanical and process basis.
Shell, Heads & Orientation
Horizontal/vertical arrangement and pressure-boundary geometry are determined from duty, layout, transport, loading and code requirements.
Nozzles & Manways
Process, relief, drain, vent, instrument, inspection and maintenance openings are coordinated with the P&ID and piping layout.
Process Internals
Inlet devices, baffles, demisting, distribution or other internals are included only when required by the defined vessel duty.
Supports, Platforms & Lifting
Saddles, skirts, legs, ladders/platforms, lifting provisions and maintenance access follow site and transport constraints.
Materials & Corrosion Basis
Material selection, corrosion allowance, lining/cladding or coating requirements are evaluated from medium, H2S/CO2, salinity, water and solids conditions.
Instrumentation & Package Interfaces
Pressure, temperature, level and other connections can be supplied with project-defined instruments, piping and skid interfaces.
Engineering Inputs
Send the vessel duty and mechanical design basis before dimensions are fixed.
Preliminary information can support an initial review, but final vessel geometry, wall thickness, materials, internals, code compliance and inspection scope require the relevant design inputs to be clarified.
Process Duty & Medium
Vessel function, medium/composition, phase information, flow cases, density/viscosity, water, sand/solids and required hold-up/separation duty where applicable.
Operating / Design Conditions
Operating and design pressure/temperature, vacuum/external-pressure case if relevant, cyclic conditions and required design code.
Materials & Mechanical Interfaces
H2S/CO2/salinity/corrosion basis, material specification, nozzle schedule, internals, supports, insulation/coating, loads and site conditions.
Inspection & Documentation
NDT extent, pressure-test basis, customer/EPC/TPI hold points, required certificate/code basis, MDR/documentation, packing and destination requirements.
Manufacturing, NDT & Pressure Testing
Control materials, welding, inspection and test records through fabrication.
Manufacturing resources include pressure-vessel fabrication, machining, welding, applicable NDT and pressure testing. Material certificates, traceability, welding controls, dimensional inspection, nozzle/internals checks and project-defined FAT/TPI records are coordinated according to the approved specification and ITP.
Material & Traceability
Verify incoming materials, MTCs, identification and traceability according to the project quality plan.
Forming & Welding
Cutting, rolling, fit-up, welding and heat-treatment requirements where applicable follow approved procedures and code/project controls.
NDT & Pressure Test
Applicable RT/UT/MT/PT and hydrostatic, pressure, leak or tightness tests are performed to the approved inspection basis.
Final Inspection & Records
Final dimensional, nozzle, coating, assembly and documentation checks support FAT, TPI and pre-shipment release where required.
