LINSON OIL

Oil & Gas Heat Transfer Solutions

Process Heat Exchanger for Oil & Gas Service

LINSON OIL supplies project-specific process heat exchangers for heating, cooling and heat-recovery duties in oil and gas production, gathering, treatment and gas-processing systems. Thermal and mechanical selection is developed from the hot- and cold-side process data, P&ID, Data Sheet, Technical Specification and actual site conditions.

Application
Heating, cooling and thermal recovery duties
Basis
Process data and project specification review
Supply Scope
Equipment, package integration and project support
The thermal duty, configuration, materials, controls, piping interfaces and documentation are confirmed against the approved technical basis rather than assumed from a generic product model.

Process Duty Review

Start with the duty.
Then define the heat-transfer solution.

In oil and gas service, a process heat exchanger may be used where one process or utility stream must heat, cool or recover heat from another stream. The actual duty and exchanger configuration are confirmed from the project process basis.

01

Process Heating

Support project-defined heating duties for crude oil, condensate, gas, produced-water or other applicable process streams.

02

Process Cooling

Review cooling requirements for gas, liquid, condensate and utility streams.

03

Heat Recovery

Evaluate heat-recovery duties where thermal energy from one process stream is intentionally transferred to another stream.

04

Package Integration

Coordinate heat-transfer scope with vessels, pumps, piping, valves, instruments and controls.

Heat Transfer Logic

Two stream conditions define the thermal duty.

The hot side and cold side are reviewed together: flow rate, composition, inlet and target outlet temperatures, pressure, phase behavior, fouling tendency and allowable pressure drop. These inputs establish the thermal basis before mechanical configuration is finalized.

  1. 01

    Define Both Streams

Confirm the hot-side and cold-side media, compositions, phases and operating cases.

  2. 02

    Set Temperature Duty

Clarify inlet conditions and required outlet temperatures for the design cases.

  3. 03

    Review Pressure & Fluids

Evaluate operating/design pressure, corrosion, fouling, solids and allowable pressure drop.

  4. 04

    Finalize Interfaces

Confirm connections, layout, maintenance access, instruments, insulation and package boundary.

Configuration & Supply Boundary

Configuration follows the thermal duty and project interface.

Thermal Process Interface

Review stream conditions, temperature approach, operating variability, fouling and utility availability.

Mechanical & Layout Interface

Consider plot space, lifting access, transport limits, maintenance clearance and piping loads.

Materials & Corrosion Review

Assess fluid composition, produced water, salinity, solids, H2S, CO2 and erosion risks.

Controls & Package Scope

Define instrumentation, control logic, alarms, electrical interfaces, valves and skid integration.

Project-defined supply scope

  • Thermal equipment and connected piping
  • Valves, instruments and control interfaces
  • Skid structure and access provisions
  • Documentation, inspection and FAT support

Technical RFQ

Share the project basis.
We will clarify the thermal solution.

Send available Process Data, P&ID, Data Sheet, Technical Specification, drawings or a brief description of the hot-side and cold-side operating requirement.

Detailed datasheets, drawings and project-specific technical documents are prepared after the operating conditions, scope of supply and commercial basis have been sufficiently clarified.
