Wellhead Multifunctional Collection Tank
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured single-well collection equipment that can combine produced-fluid collection or storage with selected gas-liquid separation, oil-water separation, metering, heating, loading/export and control interfaces. The actual functional combination is established from the wellstream, operating conditions, required measurement and transfer duty, site interfaces and project specification.
Not every unit includes every function. Separation route, storage/hold-up, metering, heating, loading, automation, materials and code basis are confirmed during technical clarification.

Integrated Single-Well Equipment
Collection is the core duty; separation, metering, heating, loading/export and controls are included only when confirmed in the project scope.
Wellhead Collection & Processing Logic
Receive the wellstream, apply only the required functions and route each outlet to the field interface.
The package should not be treated as one fixed process train. The wellstream composition, oil/gas/water rates, solids, pressure/temperature, measurement objective, heating need and downstream route determine which functions belong inside the unit.
- 01 / RECEIVE
Receive & Collect
Define wellhead inlet, isolation, collection/hold-up and drain/vent interfaces from the confirmed operating basis.
- 02 / SEPARATE
Separate if Required
Add gas-liquid or oil-water separation only where the process duty requires independent phase handling.
- 03 / MEASURE
Meter the Defined Streams
Provide project-selected flow, level, pressure, temperature or phase measurement interfaces for the required production-management duty.
- 04 / CONDITION
Heat / Condition if Required
Select heating or other conditioning only where crude viscosity, ambient conditions, transfer duty or the project process basis justifies it.
- 05 / EXPORT
Load, Transfer & Control
Coordinate oil, gas, water, loading, pump, export and control interfaces with the downstream field operating philosophy.
Applications
For single-well duties where collection needs more than a simple storage tank.
Use the dedicated Oil Collection Tank page when the requirement is primarily gathering, buffering and transfer. Use this page when multiple field-handling functions must be coordinated around one wellhead package.
Single-Well Production
Integrated wellhead-side collection equipment for produced-fluid receipt, selected handling functions and export.
Measurement-Oriented Duty
Projects requiring defined oil/gas/liquid measurement or local indication as part of the collection package.
Heated Collection / Transfer
Viscosity-sensitive or cold-weather service where a project-selected heating function is required for handling or transfer.
Remote / Modular Wellsite
Compact integrated equipment where plot, transport, site installation and local/remote control interfaces matter.
Main Functional Modules
Select only the modules required by the well and operating method.
Source material documents configurations combining a tank body with separation, measurement, heating and loading/export-related functions. Those documented functions support the product family, but the website does not treat the full combination as mandatory on every unit.
Collection / Storage Section
Tank or vessel-based receipt and hold-up capacity sized from the production pattern, operating levels and transfer cycle.
Gas-Liquid Separation
Project-selected separation stage and gas outlet interface where gas disengagement or separate routing is required.
Oil-Water Separation
Oil/water handling or separation section included only when fluid behavior and the field operating objective require it.
Metering & Instrumentation
Flow, level, pressure, temperature or other project-defined measurement interfaces for local or remote production management.
Heating / Thermal Management
Self-contained or external heating interfaces selected from crude properties, utilities, ambient conditions and required transfer state.
Loading, Export & Controls
Pump/loading/export connections, valves, local panel, remote monitoring or control interfaces are integrated according to scope.
Engineering Inputs
The first engineering decision is which functions belong inside the unit.
Send the available wellstream, operating and field-interface data first. The collection volume, separation stages, metering duty, heating route, export method and control scope can then be clarified before quotation.
Wellstream & Operating Data
Oil, gas and water rates; GOR/water cut; density/viscosity; sand/solids; composition; operating/design pressure and temperature; H2S/CO2/salinity where relevant.
Required Functions
Collection/hold-up, gas-liquid separation, oil-water separation, metering, heating, sampling, loading, transfer, export, drains and vents.
Measurement & Control Basis
Which phases or streams must be measured, local/remote indication, alarms, shutdowns, remote monitoring, electrical supply and hazardous-area requirements.
Site & Project Interfaces
P&ID/Data Sheet, battery limits, wellhead/downstream tie-ins, utilities, plot/transport, material/coating, inspection/FAT, documentation and delivery requirements.
Manufacturing & FAT
Verify the selected functions and interfaces as one integrated field package.
LINSON OIL coordinates applicable tank/vessel fabrication, piping prefabrication, valve and instrument installation, selected heating equipment, transfer interfaces, electrical/control integration and factory preassembly according to the approved scope. Inspection and FAT follow the project specification and ITP.
Scope Release
Approved process path, equipment list, interfaces, materials, controls and inspection points are confirmed before fabrication.
Fabrication & Integration
Tank/vessel, piping, valves, instruments, heating/transfer items and structural components are fabricated and assembled to scope.
Inspection & Functional Checks
Material, dimensional, applicable leak/pressure, instrument, electrical/control and functional checks are performed as required.
FAT & Records
FAT, customer/EPC/third-party witness support and project quality records are arranged where included in the agreed scope.
