Oilfield Water Filter
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured filtration equipment for oilfield produced water, treated water and process-water duties where suspended solids must be controlled before downstream equipment, transfer, treatment or reinjection. Filter housing, element or media arrangement, inlet distribution, differential-pressure monitoring, drain/vent and cleaning or backwash interfaces are selected from the actual water analysis, solids characteristics, flow, pressure, temperature, corrosion basis and operating philosophy.
No fixed filtration rating, outlet suspended-solids value, pressure drop, backwash cycle or filter media is assumed before the project data is reviewed.

Project-Configured Filtration Equipment
Filter type and internals are selected only after the water quality, suspended-solids duty, maintenance philosophy and downstream protection requirement are known.
Filtration Logic
Receive the water stream, capture the defined solids load and return the filter to service through the selected maintenance method.
Filtration performance depends on the actual solids distribution, oil carryover, salinity, chemistry, flow variation and downstream objective. The filter element/media and cleaning philosophy are therefore engineering selections rather than universal defaults.
- 01 / RECEIVE
Receive & Distribute
Route the water through the project-defined inlet arrangement and distribute flow across the selected filtration section.
- 02 / FILTER
Capture Suspended Solids
Use the selected element, media or internal arrangement to manage solids according to the approved process basis.
- 03 / MONITOR
Monitor Filter Condition
Differential pressure and other project-selected indicators support operating decisions and maintenance timing.
- 04 / CLEAN
Clean / Backwash if Required
Use element replacement, manual cleaning, drain/blowdown or backwash interfaces according to the selected filter arrangement.
- 05 / ROUTE
Protect the Downstream Process
Route filtered water toward treatment, transfer, pumps, injection or other downstream equipment within the confirmed battery limits.
Applications
For water duties where solids control protects the next process step.
This page covers a dedicated filtration procurement object. Oil removal, clarification and complete water-treatment systems remain on their own pages.
Produced-Water Filtration
Solids-control stage downstream of upstream oil/water separation or other produced-water treatment equipment.
Treated-Water Polishing
Project-defined filtration where treated water needs additional solids control before its final destination.
Reinjection Pretreatment
Filtration upstream of a reinjection package when the project water-quality and injection-system basis requires it.
Process / Utility Water
Project water streams where suspended solids must be controlled to protect downstream piping, pumps or process equipment.
Structure & Filter Configuration
Configure the housing, internals and service connections around the solids duty.
The final arrangement may be a pressure-containing filter vessel, non-pressure housing, module or skid depending on the application. No specific proprietary filtration technology is assumed from the available evidence.
Vessel / Housing
Housing geometry, design basis, access, supports and connection orientation are selected from the installation and operating requirements.
Inlet Distribution
Inlet arrangement and internal flow distribution are coordinated with the selected filtration section and allowable operating pressure drop.
Filter Elements / Media
Element, cartridge, screen, media or other internal arrangement is selected only after the solids duty and maintenance method are confirmed.
Differential-Pressure Monitoring
Pressure taps, gauges/transmitters or alarms can be included where required to monitor filter condition and maintenance need.
Drain / Vent / Sampling
Drain, vent, sampling and flushing connections are defined from operating, maintenance and disposal requirements.
Cleaning / Backwash Interfaces
Backwash, blowdown, flushing or manual service connections are provided only where required by the selected filtration arrangement.
Engineering Inputs
Solids characteristics and downstream protection duty determine the filter.
A filter cannot be selected reliably from flow alone. Representative water analysis, solids data, upstream oil-removal condition, operating range and downstream acceptance basis should be reviewed together.
Water & Solids Data
Water source, TSS/turbidity where available, particle-size distribution if measured, solids type, oil content, salinity and other chemistry affecting fouling/corrosion.
Flow / Pressure / Temperature
Normal/min/max flow, operating and design pressure where applicable, temperature range, continuous/intermittent duty and allowable pressure drop if specified.
Filtration / Maintenance Objective
Required filtration objective, downstream equipment to protect, cleaning philosophy, replaceable element/media preference if specified, backwash water and waste/disposal route.
Mechanical / Site / Project Scope
Materials/corrosion basis, code/flange standard, instruments, skid/piping scope, hazardous area if relevant, plot/transport, inspection/FAT, documents and delivery requirements.
Manufacturing & Inspection
Build and inspect the filter around the approved mechanical and process scope.
LINSON OIL manufacturing resources support filter equipment, water-treatment equipment, vessel/housing fabrication, piping prefabrication, skid assembly and valve/instrument integration. Material control, dimensional inspection, applicable pressure/leak testing and project-specific FAT are defined by the approved design and ITP.
Material / Component Control
Verify project-specified housing materials, purchased filter components and identification before assembly.
Fabrication & Assembly
Fabricate housing/vessel and integrate internals, piping, valves, instruments and skid components to the released scope.
Inspection & Testing
Perform dimensional and assembly inspection plus applicable leak/pressure and instrument checks according to the project basis.
FAT & Records
Arrange FAT/TPI support, drawings, test records, manuals and packing/delivery documentation where included.
Related Equipment
Build the water train around the contaminant and downstream duty.
Coalescing Oil Separator
Use upstream where free or dispersed oil removal is the primary duty before filtration.
Clarifier
Clarification/settling equipment where solids or oil removal requires a dedicated gravity-treatment stage.
Chemical Injection Skid
Dosing package when upstream conditioning or water-treatment chemistry is part of the approved route.
Pumps & Pump Parts
Transfer, circulation or reinjection-related pump scope coordinated with the water-treatment package.
Related Solutions & Evidence
Use the verified filter/water-treatment scope without inventing a proprietary filtration technology.
System
Produced Water & Industrial Wastewater Treatment System
Wider system context when filtration is one step within a complete water-treatment train.
Downstream Package
Produced Water Reinjection Package
Use when the final procurement object is a complete reinjection package rather than a standalone filter.
Solution
Produced Fluid & Produced Water Treatment
Connects filtration to upstream oil-water separation, solids management and downstream water handling.
Direct Capability Evidence
Filters, Water-Treatment Equipment & Filter Consumables
Available manufacturing qualification material explicitly includes filters in the design/manufacturing/installation scope, water-treatment equipment including industrial wastewater equipment in the production/sales scope, and filter elements/media in the sales scope. This supports filter-equipment capability without proving one fixed filter medium, rating or cleaning method.
Oilfield Water Filter RFQ
Send the water analysis, solids basis and downstream protection requirement.
Share the water source, flow range, TSS/turbidity or particle information where available, oil content, salinity/chemistry, operating/design pressure and temperature, desired filtration objective, downstream equipment, cleaning/backwash philosophy, P&ID, Data Sheet and Technical Specification. We will clarify the filter arrangement before quotation.
Detailed datasheets, drawings and project-specific technical documents are prepared after the operating conditions, scope of supply and commercial basis have been sufficiently clarified.
