Clarifier
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured clarification and settling equipment for oilfield produced water and industrial wastewater where suspended solids, flocculated particles and other separable material must be removed before downstream treatment, reuse, reinjection or discharge. Inlet distribution, settling zone, sludge collection/removal, clarified-water outlet, chemical-dosing interfaces, sampling, drains and instrumentation are defined from the actual influent, solids behavior, process objective and site constraints.
Clarifier geometry, sludge-removal method and chemical program are project-defined. No fixed retention time, surface loading, outlet suspended-solids value, oil-removal performance or scraper speed is assumed.

Project-Defined Clarification Equipment
The equipment is selected around the actual solids, floc behavior, oil carryover, flow variation, sludge-handling method and required downstream water condition.
Clarification / Settling Logic
Distribute the influent, create settling conditions, collect residual solids and route clarified water onward.
The functional sequence is stable, but the physical clarifier design is not universal. Solids density and size, floc formation, oil behavior, flow variation, chemical program, sludge volume and outlet objective determine the actual geometry and equipment configuration.
- 01 / RECEIVE
Receive & Distribute
Introduce the water stream through an inlet arrangement selected to manage hydraulic disturbance and support the intended settling zone.
- 02 / CONDITION
Condition if Required
Coordinate coagulation, flocculation, demulsification or pH-adjustment interfaces only when the validated treatment chemistry requires them.
- 03 / SETTLE
Allow Solids / Flocs to Settle
Provide a project-sized clarification zone where separable solids and flocs can move away from the clarified-water path.
- 04 / COLLECT
Collect & Remove Sludge
Use hopper, scraper or other project-selected sludge collection/removal arrangements according to the solids and maintenance basis.
- 05 / ROUTE
Route Clarified Water
Send clarified water toward filtration, polishing, reuse, reinjection, discharge or another downstream treatment step.
Applications
For water-treatment duties where gravity settling and sludge management are justified by the process data.
Clarification is one treatment stage. Oil separation, filtration, chemical dosing and the complete water-treatment train remain separate procurement objects when independently specified.
Oilfield Produced Water
Clarification after upstream separation or conditioning where suspended solids and flocs require settling before the next treatment step.
Industrial Wastewater
Project-defined gravity clarification where wastewater solids characteristics and the outlet objective support a settling stage.
Chemical-Conditioned Water
Clarification downstream of validated coagulation/flocculation or other conditioning where generated flocs require removal.
Existing-Plant Upgrade
New or replacement clarification equipment coordinated with existing tanks, pumps, filters, drains, chemical systems and site constraints.
Structure & Configurable Interfaces
Keep the equipment architecture flexible until the water and solids basis is confirmed.
The available evidence supports water-treatment equipment and sludge-scraping capability, but not one universal clarifier geometry. Final layout, collection method, internals and structural arrangement therefore remain project-defined.
Inlet Distribution / Feed Zone
Feed arrangement is selected to control hydraulic disturbance and coordinate with any upstream mixing or conditioning step.
Settling / Clarification Zone
Clarification area and flow path are sized from actual solids/floc behavior, flow variation and downstream objective.
Sludge Collection / Scraping
Hopper, scraper or other sludge-removal arrangements may be selected according to solids production, maintenance and disposal requirements.
Clarified-Water Outlet
Overflow, launder or other outlet arrangement is established from the selected geometry and downstream hydraulic interface.
Chemical-Dosing Interfaces
Coagulant, flocculant, demulsifier or pH-adjustment interfaces are included only where supported by the approved treatment chemistry.
Drain / Sampling / Instruments
Drain, sampling, level, interface, turbidity or other monitoring points can be included where required by the project scope.
Engineering Inputs
Water analysis, solids behavior and sludge route define the clarifier.
Provide representative influent analysis and operating range where possible. If settling behavior or treatment chemistry is still under development, it should remain an engineering clarification or test item rather than a fixed design assumption.
Influent / Flow Variation
Water source, normal/min/max flow, batch/continuous operation, upstream equipment and expected load variation.
Solids / Oil / Water Analysis
TSS/turbidity, particle or floc characteristics, density/settling behavior if known, oil content/behavior, salinity, pH, temperature and other relevant chemistry.
Chemical & Sludge Basis
Existing/validated coagulant, flocculant, demulsifier or pH-adjustment program, expected sludge handling, drain route, pump-out and disposal/recovery interface.
Outlet / Site / Scope
Required clarified-water basis, downstream filter/treatment/reinjection/discharge route, materials/corrosion, site layout, utilities, controls, inspection/FAT and documentation.
Manufacturing & Inspection
Fabricate and integrate the confirmed clarification and sludge-handling scope.
LINSON OIL resources support water-treatment equipment, metal fabrication, piping/skid integration, pumps, instruments and controls. Material, dimensional and assembly inspection, applicable leak/pressure testing, functional checks and FAT are arranged according to the approved project specification and ITP.
Engineering Release
Confirm the selected clarification geometry, sludge-removal method, interfaces, materials, instruments and inspection points before fabrication.
Fabrication & Assembly
Fabricate defined metal equipment and integrate project-selected scraper, piping, pumps, valves, instruments or skid components.
Inspection & Functional Checks
Perform material, dimensional, assembly, applicable leak/pressure, instrument and mechanical-function checks to scope.
FAT & Documentation
Arrange customer/EPC/TPI witness support, project quality records, manuals and packing/delivery preparation where included.

Keep each water-treatment duty on its own procurement path.
Coalescing Oil Separator
Use when free/dispersed oil removal is the primary upstream duty.
Oilfield Water Filter
Use when suspended-solids filtration or downstream equipment protection is the main procurement object.
Chemical Injection Skid
Dedicated dosing package when the validated treatment chemistry requires a separate chemical supply scope.
Pumps & Pump Parts
Transfer, sludge, circulation or downstream pump scope coordinated with the selected treatment package.
Related Solutions & Evidence
Use the documented water-treatment and sludge-scraper scope without inventing a proprietary clarifier design.
System
Produced Water & Industrial Wastewater Treatment System
Wider system context when clarification is one step within a complete water-treatment train.
Solution
Produced Fluid & Produced Water Treatment
Connects clarification with upstream oil-water separation, solids management and downstream water handling.
Downstream Package

Direct Capability Evidence
Water-Treatment Equipment & Sludge Scraper Scope
Available manufacturing qualification material explicitly includes water-treatment equipment including industrial wastewater treatment equipment, and sludge scrapers within the environmental-equipment scope. This supports clarification and sludge-handling capability without proving one fixed clarifier type or performance envelope.
Clarifier RFQ
Send the water analysis, solids behavior and sludge-handling basis.
Share the water source, normal/min/max flow, TSS/turbidity, particle or floc information, oil behavior, temperature, pH/salinity where relevant, validated chemical program if available, sludge route, required clarified-water basis, PFD/P&ID, Data Sheet and Technical Specification. We will clarify the equipment concept before quotation.
Detailed datasheets, drawings and project-specific technical documents are prepared after the operating conditions, scope of supply and commercial basis have been sufficiently clarified.
