Mud Circulation System
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured mud circulation systems for drilling-fluid, workover, well-service and field-fluid handling duties. Tank modules, pump groups, transfer piping, manifolds, mixing or agitation, solid-liquid treatment interfaces, valves, instruments and controls are defined from the actual fluid properties, solids condition, operating sequence, site constraints and project specification.

Project-Configured Fluid Handling System
Tank volume, pump type, solids-control route, mixing method, materials, electrical scope and controls are confirmed during technical clarification.
Mud Circulation & Treatment Logic
Design the fluid path around the operating sequence and solids condition.
A mud circulation system is not one fixed tank-and-pump layout. Storage arrangement, pump duty, mixing philosophy, solids-control interfaces, transfer routes, redundancy, materials, electrical requirements and control logic are defined from the actual project duty.
-
01 / RECEIVE
Receive & Store
Receive prepared mud, returned fluid, recovered liquid or additives into project-defined tanks, compartments or modular storage sections.
-
02 / CIRCULATE
Transfer & Circulate
Route fluid through selected pump groups, suction/discharge piping, manifolds, valves and bypasses according to operating and maintenance modes.
-
03 / MIX
Mix & Condition
Maintain fluid uniformity or introduce water, base fluid, chemicals or additives using the confirmed agitation or mixing arrangement.
-
04 / TREAT
Handle Solids / Treatment Interfaces
Connect screening, desanding, separation, filtration, dewatering or downstream treatment equipment only where required by the approved process route.
-
05 / RETURN
Reuse, Transfer or Discharge
Return conditioned fluid to operation or transfer it to downstream handling, storage, treatment or discharge interfaces defined by the project.
Applications
Fluid storage and circulation for project-defined field operations.
Application fit is confirmed from fluid properties, solids loading, operating sequence, treatment objective and site interfaces. The system is not presented with one standard solids-control train.
Drilling-Fluid Handling
Storage, preparation, circulation, transfer and treatment interfaces where these functions are required by the drilling-fluid system.
Workover & Well Service
Flexible tank, pump and manifold arrangements for project-defined fluid preparation, recovery and transfer duties.
Returned-Fluid / Solids Handling
Storage and circulation integrated with screening, desanding, filtration or downstream treatment interfaces where required.
Modular Field Packages
Skid or module sections arranged around transport, lifting, plot, installation and tie-in restrictions.
Main Systems & Configuration
Build the scope around how the fluid must be stored, moved and treated.
Tank size, number of compartments, pump type, solids-control equipment, agitation method, materials, electrical system and automation level are all project-specific.
Mud Tanks & Compartments
Tank geometry, compartment arrangement, suction boxes, drains, overflow, access and structural supports are defined from the operating sequence.
Pump Groups
Circulation, transfer, mixing feed, loading/unloading or treatment-feed pumps are selected from fluid duty, solids tolerance and required pressure/flow.
Mixing / Agitation
Agitation, mixing and additive-introduction arrangements are selected to maintain or prepare the required fluid condition.
Solid-Liquid Treatment Interfaces
Screening, desanding, separation, filtration or dewatering equipment can be included or connected according to the approved process basis.
Manifolds, Piping & Valves
Suction/discharge headers, tank-to-tank routing, bypasses, isolation, drains and downstream tie-ins follow the operating modes.
Electrical, Instruments & Controls
Motors, local panels, instruments, alarms, remote signals and hazardous-area interfaces are coordinated to the project specification.
Engineering Inputs
Fluid properties, solids condition and operating sequence define the system.
If the full process basis is not yet available, send the current equipment list, PFD/P&ID, tank layout or operating description. The missing storage, pump, treatment and control inputs can be clarified before quotation.
Fluid & Solids Data
Fluid type, density, viscosity, temperature, solids type/loading, particle information, salinity, chemicals and corrosive components where available.
Operating & Pump Duty
Required circulation/transfer flow, pressure/head, operating modes, duty/standby philosophy, batch/continuous basis and cleaning requirements.
Tank & Treatment Basis
Required storage/hold-up, number of compartments, mixing need, treatment objective and specified screening/desanding equipment if already defined.
Site & Project Interfaces
Plot, transport/lifting limits, power supply, hazardous area, control philosophy, upstream/downstream tie-ins, materials/coating and inspection requirements.
Manufacturing & FAT
Fabricate, assemble and inspect the confirmed tank, pump and skid scope.
LINSON OIL coordinates applicable tank/structural fabrication, piping prefabrication, pump and manifold assembly, valve/instrument installation and electrical/control integration according to the approved package scope. Inspection and FAT follow the project specification and ITP.
Engineering Release
Approved layout, equipment list, piping/control basis, materials and inspection points are coordinated before fabrication.
Fabrication & Assembly
Tank/structure, piping, pumps, manifolds, valves, instruments and electrical items are fabricated and assembled to scope.
Inspection & Functional Checks
Material, dimensional, applicable leak/pressure, pump/interface, instrument and electrical checks are performed as required.
FAT & Records
FAT, customer/EPC/third-party witness support and project quality records are arranged where included in the agreed scope.
