Project-Based Gas Treatment Package
Gas Dehydration & Mercury Removal Package
LINSON OIL supplies project-defined gas-treatment packages where moisture control and mercury removal are both required by the downstream process. Dehydration technology, mercury-removal media, vessel arrangement, treatment sequence, regeneration or media-replacement philosophy and package boundary are confirmed from gas analysis, operating conditions and the client/EPC process specification.

Integrated Gas Treatment
Treatment sequence and media selection follow the confirmed gas analysis and downstream requirement.
Treatment Objectives & Process Logic
Confirm the outlet requirement before fixing the treatment sequence.
There is no single standard arrangement for every project. Moisture removal route, mercury-control media, vessel quantity, guard stages, regeneration or media replacement, and the relative sequence of treatment blocks must follow the approved process basis.
Review feed-gas condition
Confirm composition, water/moisture basis, mercury data where available, H2S/CO2, liquids, solids, pressure, temperature and operating variation.
Set downstream treatment targets
Use the client/EPC/licensor specification to define required moisture and mercury conditions without assuming a generic guarantee.
Select treatment route & media
Choose dehydration technology, mercury-control media, pretreatment and operating philosophy only after the process basis is confirmed.
Define package boundary
Integrate vessels, filters, piping, valves, instruments, controls, structural skid and utility interfaces according to scope.
Applications
For gas streams requiring both moisture control and project-specified mercury protection.
Mercury removal is included only where the feed analysis or downstream process specification requires it. The package is not presented as a default requirement for all gas-treatment projects.
LNG-Related Pretreatment
Dehydration and mercury control where the selected LNG process and feed analysis require these pretreatment functions.
Cryogenic / Sensitive Downstream Equipment
Gas conditioning where the project specification identifies moisture or mercury as a risk to downstream equipment.
Gas Processing & Recovery Projects
Treatment blocks integrated with recovery, conditioning or downstream processing according to the approved flow scheme.
Modular Gas-Treatment Packages
Skid-mounted treatment systems arranged around transport, plot, installation and interface constraints.
Configuration & Supply Boundary
Combine only the treatment blocks required by the project.
The final package can range from selected treatment vessels to an integrated skid with inlet conditioning, dehydration, mercury removal, valves, piping, instrumentation and controls.
Pretreatment
Inlet Separation & Filtration
Liquid removal, filtration or other inlet conditioning where required to protect the selected treatment media.
Dehydration
Project-Selected Moisture Removal
Molecular-sieve, TEG or another specified dehydration route is selected according to the required downstream gas condition and project basis.
Mercury Removal
Media & Vessel Arrangement
Mercury-control media, vessel arrangement, isolation and monitoring provisions are defined from the gas analysis and approved downstream requirement.
Operating Philosophy
Regeneration or Media Changeout
Regeneration, replacement, bypass, standby or changeout provisions are project-specific and are not assumed as universal package features.
Package Integration
Piping, Valves & Instruments
Piping, valves, sampling, drains, vents, analyzers and instruments are coordinated to the approved P&ID and responsibility split.
Project Interfaces
Skid, Controls & Utilities
Structural skid, electrical/control interfaces, access and utility connections are included according to the confirmed scope.
Engineering Inputs
Gas analysis and downstream limits are the starting point.
Where mercury data or detailed process information is not yet available, send the current gas analysis and downstream specification. The missing basis can be clarified before final equipment selection.

Manufacturing & FAT
Fabrication and skid integration follow the approved package scope.
LINSON OIL’s manufacturing resources support pressure equipment, piping prefabrication, skid assembly, instrumentation and control integration. Inspection and FAT activities are defined by the project specification and ITP.
Engineering Release
Approved process basis, equipment data, drawings and inspection points are reviewed before fabrication.
Fabrication & Integration
Applicable vessels, piping, valves, instruments and structural modules are fabricated and assembled to scope.
Inspection & Testing
Material checks, applicable NDT, pressure/leak tests and instrument/control checks are performed where required.
FAT & Records
FAT, customer/EPC/third-party witness support and quality records are arranged where included in scope.
