Instrument Air Skid
LINSON OIL supplies project-configured instrument air skids for oil and gas facilities, process packages and field utility systems. The package may start from an existing compressed-air source or include project-selected compression; filtration, drying, receiver storage, pressure regulation, controls and distribution interfaces are then defined from the required air demand, quality, pressure, site conditions and client/EPC specification.

Project-Configured Utility Package
Air treatment, receiver, pressure-control and distribution functions are integrated only as required by the confirmed utility basis.
Instrument Air System Logic
Define the required air quality and delivery conditions before fixing the equipment train.
Compressor type, drying method, filtration stages, receiver volume, dew-point requirement, pressure range, redundancy and controls are project-specific. The system can be configured around an existing plant-air source or supplied with a new compression section where required.
-
01 / SOURCE
Air Source / Compression
Confirm whether compressed air is supplied by the plant or whether a new compressor package is included in the LINSON OIL scope.
-
02 / CONDITION
Separate & Filter
Define condensate handling, particulate/oil management and filtration stages according to the incoming air condition and required outlet quality.
-
03 / DRY
Dry the Air
Select the drying technology and operating philosophy from the specified moisture/dew-point target, ambient conditions and downstream users.
-
04 / BUFFER
Store & Regulate
Use project-defined receiver storage, pressure regulation, isolation and monitoring to support the required demand profile and continuity.
-
05 / DISTRIBUTE
Distribute & Control
Coordinate outlet headers, manifolds, point-of-use interfaces, controls, alarms and remote signals with the facility utility philosophy.
Applications
Utility air for process controls, pneumatic users and packaged facilities.
The page describes the utility-package function, not one fixed air-quality class. The required quality and continuity are confirmed from the actual instrument and plant-user requirements.
Production & Gathering Facilities
Instrument-air supply for project-defined pneumatic instruments, actuators and process-control users.
Separation & Process Skids
Utility-air support for integrated separation, metering, treatment and other packaged equipment where specified.
Gas-Processing Packages
Control-air interfaces for dehydration, stabilization, gas recovery and other gas-processing modules.
Remote / Modular Facilities
Skid, enclosure and utility interfaces arranged around transport, climate, installation and maintenance constraints.
Configuration & Supply Boundary
Configure only the air-treatment and utility functions required by the project.
The final P&ID may include a complete compressor-to-distribution train or only a treatment/storage skid downstream of an existing compressed-air source.
Compressed-Air Source / Compressor
Existing-air inlet interface or project-selected compressor section, with duty/standby philosophy where required.
Filtration & Condensate Handling
Filter stages, separators, drains and oil/condensate management are selected from inlet conditions and required outlet quality.
Air Drying Section
Dryer type, number of vessels/trains, regeneration or operating method and dew-point basis are project-specific.
Air Receiver / Buffer Storage
Receiver volume, pressure basis, drains, safety accessories and hold-up philosophy are defined from utility demand and scope.
Pressure Regulation & Distribution
Pressure-control stations, isolation, manifolds, outlet headers and point-of-use interfaces are arranged to the confirmed distribution scheme.
Electrical, Instruments & Controls
Local controls, alarms, shutdown logic, remote signals, electrical supply and hazardous-area interfaces follow the project specification.
Engineering Inputs
Air demand, quality and continuity define the package.
If the utility balance is incomplete, send the current instrument-air data sheet, P&ID or list of pneumatic users. The missing design basis can be clarified before final equipment selection.
Air Demand Profile
Normal, peak and intermittent demand, simultaneous users, future allowance and required operating continuity.
Air Quality Requirement
Specified moisture/dew-point target, particulate/oil requirement and downstream instrument or actuator sensitivity.
Pressure & Source Basis
Available source pressure or new compression requirement, required delivery pressure, operating/design pressure and distribution losses.
Site, Utility & Control Basis
Ambient conditions, power supply, hazardous-area requirement, control philosophy, battery limits, plot, transport and documentation requirements.
Manufacturing & FAT
Integrate the utility equipment, receiver, piping and controls to the approved scope.
LINSON OIL coordinates structural skid fabrication, piping assembly, instruments, electrical/control integration and applicable pressure-retaining equipment according to the project specification. Inspection and FAT follow the confirmed ITP and package scope.
Engineering Release
Approved Data Sheets, P&ID, GA, equipment list, interfaces and inspection points are reviewed before assembly.
Fabrication & Integration
Skid structure, applicable receiver/vessels, piping, equipment, instruments and electrical items are integrated to scope.
Inspection & Functional Checks
Applicable pressure/leak, instrument, electrical and functional checks are performed according to the agreed inspection basis.
FAT & Records
FAT, customer/EPC/third-party witness support and quality records are arranged where included in the project scope.
