Three-Phase Separator Skid
Factory pre-fabricated. Factory tested. Site-ready. Everything from vessel to control panel integrated before it leaves our factory floor.
When Time-to-Production and Site Execution Risk Drive the Equipment Decision
A three-phase separator skid and a three-phase separator vessel are not the same purchasing decision. The vessel purchase transfers fabrication risk. The skid purchase transfers fabrication risk, integration risk, commissioning risk, and most of the field labor -- leaving the site team with bolted connections, utility hookups, and a pre-tested system that has already run through its operating sequence in the factory.

New Well Development: Fastest Path to Production
In new well development programmes, the speed of production facility installation directly determines the revenue start date. A factory pre-fabricated separator skid eliminates the scheduling chain of field fabrication and wiring. On site, the installation sequence is simply: receive skid → set on foundation → connect utilities → energise and start. This compresses field installation from weeks to days.

Remote and Access-Constrained Locations
Remote locations present a compound challenge: skilled welders and instrument technicians are scarce to mobilize, and equipment logistics are complex. A factory pre-fabricated skid reduces the skill level required on site -- field installation is a mechanical and electrical connection job rather than a fabrication job. The factory does the complex work; the site does the connections.

EPC Project Procurement: Single-Line-Item Supply
For EPC contractors, a separator skid is a procurement efficiency: one purchase order, one supplier, one FAT, one shipping event, one interface point. Separate purchase orders for vessel, valves, instruments, and controls create multiple vendor interfaces. A single-source skid eliminates these interfaces before procurement is placed.

Modular Expansion: Add Capacity Without Rebuilding
Skid-based separation facilities are inherently modular. When production increases, an additional separator skid can be installed in parallel with the existing unit without modifying the original system. Future capacity expansion becomes a connection event rather than a facility redesign.

Skid Integration Scope -- The Difference Between a Vessel and a Working System
The Vessel Is the Starting Point, Not the Finish Line.
A three-phase separator vessel separates oil, gas, and water. But a vessel alone cannot operate. It requires valves, transmitters, gauges, sampling connections, safety relief systems, automated controls, and a control panel. All of this must be connected by piping and instrumentation to the vessel, and all of it must work together correctly.
The scope of a LINSON OIL separator skid package covers every item listed below -- plus the structural skid frame that supports it all.
Standard Scope Integration
- Pressure Vessel: Cyclone inlet, coalescer, demister, automated sand removal. GB 150 / ASME VIII Div.1.
- Valves: Inlet block, control choke, gas backpressure, oil/water level control, relief valves.
- Piping: GC2 licensed interconnecting pipe spools, all butt welds RT-examined.
- Instrumentation: Transmitters (pressure, level, temp, flow), local gauges, and sampling points.
- Control Panel: PLC with HMI, pre-wired, PID loops, alarm/shutdown logic integrated.
- Structural Frame: Load-tested lifting pads, equipment mounts, cable trays, and walkways.

Every License Needed to Build It. Every Test Needed to Prove It.
A separator skid contains a pressure vessel, pressure piping, and a control panel. When assembled by a system integrator, subcontracts split the quality system. LINSON OIL holds all required licenses and performs all fabrication in-house under one ISO 9001 system, inspected by our CNAS-accredited laboratory, and covered by one FAT and one warranty.
Pressure Vessel License
A2 + High-Pressure rated
Pressure Piping (GC2)
Component & Installation License
ASME U-stamp
Vessel certification for export

The FAT Process
The FAT is the definitive quality event. Its output is not just a certificate -- it is a witnessed demonstration prior to shipment.
- Instrument loop check (4-20mA to PLC)
- Valve stroke records from HMI
- Alarm and shutdown logic verification
- Visual and dimensional inspection
- Complete quality dossier handover

2-Year Warranty
Standard on all complete skids.
Our 2-year warranty covers the integrated skid -- not just the vessel. The FAT that precedes shipment is the quality gate that makes this warranty credible: a system that has been loop-tested, function-tested, and signed off is a system whose failure modes have been resolved before the warranty clock starts. Long-term partners receive up to 2.5 years coverage.
