Project-Specific Configuration

Equipment arrangement, interfaces and package scope are confirmed through technical clarification.

What It Does

ENGINEERED FOR THE ACTUAL TREATMENT DUTY.

Gas desulfurization and sweetening equipment is specified to remove or reduce sulfur and acid-gas components where treated gas is required for downstream processing, transport or product requirements.

Required Condition

Treatment duty is defined around the condition needed by the downstream process, transport system or end-use requirement.

Route Selection

The process route is selected from gas composition, contaminant loading, operating conditions and target specification.

Battery Limits

Package interfaces are engineered to the project battery limits, including mechanical, utility, electrical, control and site requirements.

Treatment Basis / Process Route

PROCESS SELECTION STARTS WITH TECHNICAL CLARIFICATION.

The treatment route is not assumed before gas composition and project requirements are reviewed. LINSON OIL works from the treatment basis to define an appropriate equipment arrangement and package boundary.

Key Engineering Inputs

DATA THAT SHAPES THE PACKAGE.

Available gas data, operating history, project documents and downstream requirements are reviewed to establish a practical clarification path.

Feed Gas Composition

H2S, CO2, total sulfur and available sulfur species.

Flow & Conditions

Flow range, pressure, temperature, water, condensate and solids.

Required Outlet Condition

Target condition established against the downstream duty.

Gas Destination

Transport, processing, fuel, reinjection or product application.

Design Basis

Utilities, hazardous area, materials and corrosion basis.

Project Interfaces

Standards, battery limits, controls, plot and transport constraints.

Possible Equipment Scope

EQUIPMENT FOLLOWS THE SELECTED TREATMENT ROUTE.

The package is not defined from a fixed equipment list. Depending on the selected treatment route and agreed battery limits, LINSON OIL can coordinate the process equipment and supporting systems required for the duty.

Gas treatment equipment or skid detail for natural gas sweetening service

01 // INLET

Inlet Separation / Filtration

Included where feed-gas liquids, solids or upstream interface conditions require preconditioning before the selected treatment step.

02 // TREATMENT

Treatment Vessel / Contact Equipment

The main treatment equipment is selected according to contaminant type, loading, required outlet condition and the confirmed process route.

03 // SUPPORT

Circulation / Regeneration Equipment

Included only where required by the selected process route and operating philosophy.

04 // THERMAL

Heat-Transfer Equipment

Heating or cooling equipment can be integrated where required by the process design, utilities and project scope.

05 // PACKAGE

Piping, Valves & Instruments

Process piping, isolation / control valves and instrumentation are engineered to the confirmed mechanical and control basis.

06 // CONTROL

Controls, Structure & Documentation

Control integration, structural skid, access provisions and project documentation can be supplied within the agreed battery limits.

Process Route Is Project-Specific

THE ARRANGEMENT FOLLOWS THE DUTY, NOT A GENERIC TEMPLATE.

The process route and equipment arrangement are selected from the actual gas composition and project requirement.

Contaminant Type

Review H2S, CO2, sulfur species and other contaminants in the available feed data.

Concentration / Loading

Assess concentration, loading variation, flow range and operating stability.

Product Condition

Confirm the required treated-gas condition against the receiving system.

Utilities / Philosophy

Account for available utilities, automation, maintenance and site constraints.

Supply Options

TREATMENT EQUIPMENT OR AN INTEGRATED SKID PACKAGE.

The delivery boundary is defined with the client or EPC contractor. LINSON OIL can support a focused treatment-equipment scope or coordinate a wider skid package around the confirmed process route.

Option 01

Treatment Equipment Supply

For integration into a wider client, EPC or plant scope, with mechanical and process interfaces defined during technical clarification.

Option 02

Integrated Gas Treatment Skid

Depending on process route and battery limits, the skid can combine treatment equipment, piping, valves, instruments, controls and structural support.

Package Integration

DEFINE THE INTERFACES BEFORE FABRICATION.

Gas-treatment performance and field installation depend on more than the core treatment equipment. Package engineering should confirm the upstream and downstream interfaces, utilities, controls, maintenance access and site execution basis.

  • Upstream separator / filtration interface as required by feed conditions.
  • Downstream dehydration or other gas-processing interface where applicable.
  • Utility tie-ins, electrical / control boundary and hazardous-area execution.
  • Plot, lifting, transport, modularization and maintenance-access constraints.

Technical FAQ

QUESTIONS BEFORE PROCESS-ROUTE CONFIRMATION.

The first step is to understand the feed-gas composition and required treated-gas condition. The process route should follow that technical basis.

What information is needed to select a gas sweetening process?
Provide available gas composition, H2S / CO2 and sulfur data, flow, pressure, temperature, water / liquid / solids information, required outlet condition, downstream destination, utilities, site conditions, hazardous-area basis, standards and battery limits.
Do you use amine treatment?
A specific treatment technology should not be assumed before technical clarification. The process route is selected after reviewing actual gas composition, contaminant loading, required outlet condition, utilities, operating philosophy and project requirements.
What H2S or CO2 outlet condition can be achieved?
Achievable outlet conditions depend on feed composition, contaminant loading, selected process route, equipment design and project requirements. They must be confirmed during process engineering and technical clarification.
Can the system be supplied as a skid?
Yes. Depending on the confirmed process route and battery limits, LINSON OIL can integrate treatment equipment with selected piping, valves, instruments, controls and structural support into a factory-assembled package.
Can dehydration be integrated downstream?
Where required by the process design, gas-treatment and dehydration interfaces can be coordinated within a wider gas-processing package. The actual process sequence and battery limits are confirmed project-by-project.
